I bought this after trying several similar units. This fits the Discovery 2 single DIN perfectly. The adjustable screen mount had to be moved one space, and the plastic surround removed as it was touching the TFT cable in the new TFT position. Wiring is very simple using the supplied connectors. Just have to add back-up cam trigger wire and steering wheel control wire. FAST touchscreen. Easy setup. I have the Android version and bought an offline NAV map off ebay which you install to the on-board memory files and then activate the APK. I love the mechanical volume knob. The font is good sized for the screen size. I added Land Rover high res background screen. I did adjust the screen contrast (somewhere in user/developer settings) using the passcode 3368 (current for this unit...allows changes to boot screen and other settings) . I have not hooked up the line level outputs yet but I don't use my Disco for audiophile quality stereo so sound is not top of my list. The GPS antenna picks up 16 GLONASS and GPS satellites inside my house!! Great unit for the price! ... show more

This is a poor head unit, do NOT buy it! Just for reference I have an older Joying unit in my truck and am very happy with that one. I returned this Joying unit and got the 8.8 Joying unit for my Corvette and I’m very happy with that one as well. This unit sucks! Definitely don’t get it. I had a lot of software issues and not everything was in English. I contacted customer support thinking that it just needed a software upgrade but they said the unit was already up to date and that no updates were available. This seemed like an old outdated unit that hadn’t been updated in years but being sold as new unit. Joying sells good units, just not this one. Amazon made it easy to return and I was able to buy a different Joying unit that I’m very happy with. ... show more

1.5 years old. If temperature is below 30 degrees this it what could happen to yours also. Almost $400 down the drain.

    • Joying obd2 will not connect!!
Obd2 from joying does not work with joying head unit. Most playstore apps never download... just endless pending
