I love the small size, the coldness it blows out, the strength of the air coming out, the ease of installation, and the maneuverability of it. My wife suffers from periodic heat waves and this little bundle of freezing cold air conditioner is working very well for us. I love that it has casters to make it easy to move and I absolutely love that it's not that loud like some of the other reviews have mentioned. The remote is a definite plus to have, especially if you're nice and tucked in your bed. If I needed another portable AC unit, I would definitely purchase this again. ... show more

We purchased this ax unit because our apartment only has a window ac box. Set up was pretty easy. It’s a bit heavy to move around with carpet in the rooms, but do able. We haven’t used the dehumidifier mode yet, so I can’t speak to that. But the AC part works very well. It’s easy to use, and cools our room amazingly. But when it’s running it’s a bit noisy, as other reviews stated. It doesn’t keep us awake, though. It’s more like a loud fan. ... show more

Easy to set up. Only thing I had to modify was the piece that covers the window. Had to saw off 1 inch. No biggy. It cools a 12ft by 12ft room very quickly. A little noisy, but the cooling makes up for it. It evaporates the condensation, so you don't need to drain it. It's great for a upstairs room where the temp is warmer than first floor. ... show more

The unit died exactly one year later with limited use. Constantly reports a full tank error [FT] despite an empty drain tank and manual drainage set up to avoid the need of a full tank.

We bought this unit for our 23’ RV. Seems to blow cold air but cooled the space to only 81 deg. Very disappointed - thought 8000 BTU would be plenty for such a small space. However, it may be due to RV sitting in direct Florida sun and insulation, ofc, is pretty much non existent. May need a unit w/more BTUs. At any rate, too much hassle to return. Will re-sell and try to recoup most of the cost. Just be forewarned if wanting portable AC unit for RV. ... show more

This air conditioner really does the job! We purchased it for our daughter's bedroom upstairs which is south-facing and gets a lot of sun. The installation was quick and easy and it cooled the room down very quickly! It does make a fair amount of noise but not bothersome or "rattley", just more like white noise. Now my other kids want one for their rooms! ... show more
