It works fine and provides more than adequate brightness. I have another lamp which clamps to the desk where the head can rotate. This one doesn't and it would provide a little more flexibility. Not a big deal. In addition, the feature to twist the lamp arm at the bottom doesn't really seem useful to me and makes it possible to move this lamp arm into positions where the lamp would tip over. ... show more

The light works. I use it to work at night from my computer without disturbing my partner. I wish it had the option to be a bit less bright but it gets the job done. First time I tried the wireless charger I noticed it didn't really charge my phone much but I didn't think much of it. I just tried it again and after having my phone on it for about 20 minutes, it became very hot to the touch. I won't ever use the wireless charger again. Also, it only charged the phone from 5% to 14%. Overall, the light works and I think I will end up keeping it but the charging feature is a waste of money. ... show more

this works really well, I'd have given it more stars if the USB port hadn't fried the first time I plugged into it... :( I like the ability to orient the light where I want it - the two axis of movement are handy. the phone will charge if you're careful about orienting it well (I have a pop-socket so that adds a bit of a challenge to it). I was disappointed when the USB fried/died on my first attempt to use it though. I'd have sent it back for a replacement - but didn't want the hassle... **** UPDATE: **** I had no expectation that my comments about the issue with the USB would be addressed... I was completely wrong! The vendor reached out, with advice on how the product worked and asked me to test that in the event I'd missed something. When that did not correct the problem they sent a new light free of charge and no shipping!!! Excellent customer support, very much appreciated! Added a star for that :) The replacement light is functioning as described all is well! ... show more
