Features

  • FEEDER CRICKETS FOR PETS: Premium 3/4 inch banded crickets provide active prey for reptiles, amphibians, birds, bats, and other insect-eating pets; ideal feeder insects for leopard geckos, bearded dragons, tree frogs, pacman frogs, and sugar gliders.
  • HIGH PROTEIN ANIMAL NUTRITION: Rich protein food cricket source with natural hydration levels and highly digestible nutrition; supports healthy growth, energy, and feeding response when paired with proper vitamin and gut loading practices.
  • LONG STORAGE & HARDY SURVIVAL: Banded crickets last longer than many common feeder cricket species; hardy insects tolerate a wide range of care conditions; excellent colony survival and keeper-friendly maintenance for bulk stock management.
  • ACTIVE PREY WITH SOFT EXOSKELETON: Natural hunting enrichment encourages instinctive feeding behaviors; softer shell and exoskeleton improve digestibility; active movement helps attract attention from reptiles, frogs, birds, and other insectivorous animals.
  • PACKED FOR TRANSIT & EASY CARE: Securely packed with protective egg crate support during transit; simple container setup with food and hydration essentials helps maintain crickets for weeks; lower odor and quieter than many feeder bugs.

    • Very healthy

Very healthy crickets. I ordered twice and both batches were great. All alive and lasted long. They’re packed well and shipped fine.

    • Healthy Crickets That Last Much Longer Than Pet Store Crickets
Set name: 500 Count
Normally, I purchase crickets for our leopard gecko from a local pet store, and I'm lucky if they survive more than a week or so. These Josh's Frogs crickets were a completely different experience. I was a little nervous about ordering 500 crickets at once, but they arrived in great condition and have lasted for weeks with proper care. They have proven to be much more economical than making frequent trips to the pet store. The only challenge was transferring them from the shipping container into my cricket habitat. For my next order, I'll use a larger storage container with ventilation holes and purchase one of the cricket tubes like pet stores use to make handling them easier. Overall, this was a fantastic purchase. The crickets arrived healthy, lived significantly longer than the ones I typically buy locally, and offered excellent value for the price. I will definitely be ordering again. ... show more

    • My fault, not theirs!
Set name: 500 Count
They are great and they are all alive, I ordered the wrong size for my baby bearded dragon so I had to donate them to a local pet store they were HUGE but they are excellent!

Awesome product! Even in this intense heat they arrived safely. They’re also very lively and my monitors love to chase them. Will absolutely buy again

    • Cricket size not consistent
Set name: 500 Count

I have ordered from here a few times now and have always received exactly what I ordered and mostly if not all crickets were alive. Until this last order, Josh's Frogs has not disappointed whatsoever. However, this last order, I received itty bitty baby crickets instead of the 3/4" that I always get. My three dragons, I'm sure will eat them all the same, but I'm going to go through them much quicker then I typically do. As you can tell from my photos, my almost gone shipment is significantly bigger than my new shipment. I worry they will find a way out of my plastic containers since they are so small. ... show more

    • Horrible Packaging
Set name: 500 Count
Horrible packaging. The crickets are just loose in a box. Healthy and alive but what a mess trying to open them and get them into the cricket carrier.

    • They Were Packaged Well 🙏
Set name: 60 Count
All arrived safe and alive. Through no fault of the seller; the US postal service made me nervous when they bypassed my state by two states. However, they were packed well for the journey and were fine.
