I ordered the 72 count 1/2inch crickets. There may be 72 there, but not more than 40 of them are 1/2inch. These vary in size from almost microscopic to nice sized 1/2 inch insects. If there wasn't so many tiny bugs that it basically cuts how many feedings I am going to get out of this shipment I would definitely give 5 stars because everything else looked great. They were well packaged, arrived alive even with three days in shipment and a couple cold nights, most all were lively. Not sure if I will order again, because of the extreme variances in size. I am not exaggerating when I say some of these are outright tiny! If I am paying for 72 1/2inch insects I expect to get insects roughly that size with only minimal size differences. ... show more

All my crickets show up alive, every time. Beautiful little buggers too. They live forever too. As long as I feed and water them they just don’t die. Especially the ones that get loose in my house, they just won’t die……

1st order 250 1/2” banded crickets. There wasn’t 250. More like 100. But only 2 were dead. I would give 5 stars but I didn’t get the amount I paid for. 2nd order of 250 1/2” banded crickets, amount was closer to 250 but I got crickets smaller than 1/2”.

Satisfied with how secure the crickets were but very surprised to open the box to find the crickets just packed in the box. It made it interesting to transfer them into the cricket tote. But none of the crickets were dead which is a huge plus and they are fast buggers.

Everything came in alive and they lived longer then most other pet food places! As a person with lots of reptiles that eat crickets this seller is a must for us! Will be buying from here again!

Typically great crickets but this recent delivery, all crickets were deceased. Most likely, this was a shipping issue and not Josh’s Frogs. I can't see them shipping dead crickets. I will say it's a bit pricy for decreased crickets, though.

These arrived within a week and they are perfect feeder crickets for our frogs and salamanders. We will definitely order them again.
