  • perfect for sunshade
Color: Light purple
I bought this to use as a sunshade for my newborn and it has worked great! It is easy to use, push a button and it extends and pops open. It was a little harder to close up but not awful. I love that the handle has the clip on it. The clip makes it easier to attach to the stroller and stays put. Love the color as well! ... show more

  • Awesome sunbrella for the price!
Color: Light purple
Incredible sunbrella for $18!! It is very well constructed. Blocks out uva/uvb rays very well. Plus rain protection and the upside down closing doesn't get water all over everything. Great value buy!

  • Compact, heavy-duty, and love the carabiner handle Compact, heavy-duty, and love the carabiner handle
Color: Dark blue
This inverted umbrella is really well made, and the novel carabiner handle is easily one of its best features. I have mine hooked directly to a garment rod in my SUV, which makes it incredibly easy to turn around into the back seat and grab before stepping out into the rain. After all, what good is an umbrella if you can't actually get to it before you get out of the car? The automatic push-button opening works great, though you do have to pull it back down towards you with a little bit of strength to get it to click shut. Once clicked, it wraps up easily and slides into its included storage sleeve to keep everything neat. The handle itself feels very soft and rubbery. I do sometimes worry about these types of rubber handles because they can degrade and get sticky over time, but at this point, it is not an issue at all. If it ever does happen down the road, a quick fix is usually just using some rubbing alcohol or Goo Gone to clean off the residue. The inverted design is fantastic because it opens inside out, keeping water completely off of you as you pull it through a small crack in your car door. I own another inverted umbrella, but this one is much more compact for storage because it has extra folding joints. Despite folding down so small, it opens up remarkably large; two people can fit under the canopy easily. One thing to note about inverted umbrellas is that the interior fabric is what faces outward when it's closed and sitting on the car floor or ground. Because of this, it tends to get dirty. I previously made the mistake of buying a white one that showed everything, so I am very happy with this dark blue and black version since it won't show dirt anywhere near as much. If you are disciplined about using the storage sleeve, it will stay clean regardless, but the darker colors are definitely more forgiving if you tend to be rough on your gear. At the current price of $19.99, it is completely reasonable for a compact, feature-packed inverted umbrella. I am very pleased with it. ... show more

  • Nice Large & Sturdy Umbrella Nice Large & Sturdy Umbrella
Color: Dark blue
We ordered this umbrella as the couple we have around the house are cheap and flimsy. This umbrella has a nice weight to it and is very sturdy. We tend to see heavy winds when we see rain in New Mexico which has caused issues with other Umbrellas in the past. I do not see it being an issue with the Jorilis Umbrella. The umbrella comes nicely packaged and includes a nice sleeve to store it in after use. The handle is excellent and doubles as a carabiner. It works great to clip to a bag (shown in photo #3 on my backpack) for hands free storage. The handle is very sturdy and feels great in the hand. I much prefer this handle to a standard rod style umbrella. It provides great grip and can hold it a few different ways for maximum comfort. I really like the dark blue color. The release button feels nice. The umbrella quickly comes out once pressed and slides and locks easily into place. The first press of the release button fully extends the umbrella into place and is ready to go. The second push of the button folds the top back into the body so its ready so slide back into the handle It’s very easy to bring back into its body after use and store once it’s no longer needed. The rods and construction and excellent and no concerns with it breaking due to wind. The large coverage is great for sun or heavy rain. Overall great umbrella for heavy rain, wind, or sun coverage. Would absolutely buy one down the line if we need another umbrella. ... show more

  • Nice compact Umbrella Nice compact Umbrella
Color: Grey
Jorilis Inverted Umbrella with Carabiner Handle - Large This is a well-designed, affordable umbrella. It's not the most durable, but I like how functional it is. It feels like if it were to take a beating, it wouldn't hold up, so I keep it in the car for a quick umbrella when I need it. The handle feels good and I like that it has a clip function built in. The button that opens it packs a punch, and it opens really fast. That same button also releases it and starts to allow it to fold in. I like this style where it folds up with the wet part pointing towards the top of the umbrella so when you hold it by the handle, it drips down off of it. Things like that are why the design is quite nice. The cover that comes with it is impossible to get back on after I took it off, but it's not something that is really needed anyway. I like the color options, but I opted for a more traditional tone with the gray. The umbrella is compact, so it's very portable, and the clip makes it so you can attach it to a backpack, luggage, purse, etc. Overall, this is a nice umbrella for the price. I do feel it's not the most durable, but for the price, it's very well designed. This has everything I need feature-wise and then some, so it's a great little umbrella to have on hand. I would get another for our other car. ... show more

  • Opens Smoothly and Easily Opens Smoothly and Easily
Color: Grey
Let me just preface this by saying that we have had no real weather here in Sothern California since I got this, so I can’t really say how it holds up with actual use. Here is what I can say about it: The opening mechanism works well. The button pushes easily and the umbrella opens smoothly. Closing it is no more difficult than any of my other umbrellas: not as easy as opening it is but not bad. The material feels more plastic than fabric. Hopefully that makes it sturdier and water/wind proof than typical umbrellas. The material on the handle is very comfortable to grip: soft and smooth. The handle is also designed so that you can clip it onto your bag or stroller when not in use. It is a large umbrella but not as big when opened as my “Family” sized one. Closed, it is a little longer than my other large umbrella. It weighs a few ounces less than that family umbrella as well. The only tiny negative that I see is the sleeve that you can put on it when closed. It is a VERY tight fit and hard to put back on. I think it will be impossible when it is wet. It is not very helpful. Although I haven’t tested it in the wind, I did swing it around rapidly. It maintained its shape and did not turn inside out. Seems like a very solid umbrella. ... show more

  • Solid Everyday Umbrella With a Clever Handle
Color: Dark blue
This umbrella leans hard into convenience, and honestly, it nails most of what it sets out to do. The carabiner handle is the standout feature, making it easy to clip onto a backpack or hang in the car so it is actually where you need it when the sky decides to dump on you. The reverse fold design keeps the wet side contained, and the canopy opens up surprisingly wide for something that packs down this small. The reflective strip is a nice touch too, especially for late evening dog walks or parking lot sprints. It is not perfect, though. The automatic open works smoothly, but closing it takes a bit more force than expected, and if you have smaller hands or are juggling bags, it can feel slightly awkward. The rubbery handle feels good now, but I have had similar materials get tacky over time, so durability is something I will be keeping an eye on. And while the compact size is great for storage, the extra folding joints mean you have to be a little more deliberate when collapsing it neatly. • Auto-open, auto-close, and inward folding? Sign me up! Auto-open, auto-close, and inward folding? Sign me up!
Color: Dark blue
This umbrella showed up just in time for the rainy season and has already earned a spot by my door. It's auto-open and auto-close with a single button, and it collapses with the wet side folding inward, so I'm not getting drenched by dripping fabric when I close it, and it doesn't soak everything around it. The overall form factor is lovely, and the dark blue color I chose looks great. The carabiner-style handle is a nice touch - I haven't really used it as a clip yet, but I can see how hanging it securely on a bag would be very helpful for keeping the interior of a bag dry and saving bag space for other things. My only complaint is that the opening in the handle isn't large enough for my hand or wrist to fit through, so I can't hang it from my arm when I'm carrying other things. I'd love to see the company make that opening larger so you could hook it over your wrist and hold it against your shoulder for hands-free rain coverage. For the features and build, the price is about what I'd expect for this kind of umbrella. ... show more
