    • No Lugging for Me!
Color: Natural Size: 12' x 15' (Rectangular)
Review Image by Pacific NW
I was hesitant to order this rug since the reviews were a mixed bag. I mean who wants to repack and lug a 12x15 jute rug back for a return? "Me" said no one ever. I am thrilled to say that it arrived and was beautiful. The rug's natural jute colors were as pictured. It is thick, about 1/2 inch. The rug did have a natural jute aroma as should be expected, but it disapated in a few days. I expected it to shed as jute rugs do, but was pleasantly surprised at how little it did-hardly noticeable. The weave was tight and it had a few knots that protruded above the plain of the rug. Again, it is a jute rug. The rug laid flat almost immediately but I let it lay out in the garage for a few days to relax before bringing it into the house to place it on the floor. I used this 12x15 jute rug to layer another large rug over it. The edges stick out under the top rug 12" on all sides and the combination of both rugs actually made my space look larger. I used a rug pad beneath the jute rug and have no problems with the rug slipping out of place. If you use the jute rug on wood or engineered flooring make sure to use a pad so as not to have the jute scratch your flooring. Finding a 12x15 jute rug is difficult, especially one of this quality and price. Even had I not wanted to use it for a bottom rug for layering, the quality was such that I would have kept the rug. I am completely satisfied with this beautiful, natural rug and am glad I took a chance and ordered it. No lugging for me! ... show more

    • Absolutely gorgeous.
Absolutely beautiful. Love love love. It does come folded in a square shape which is annoying but thank goodness it flattens put beautiful and fast!! Beware of jute smell for days. It’s unavoidable but it’s worth the beauty and luxurious feel of this rug that is every second of what I would cross my fingers it would be. Hardly sheds and thankfully it will seem to last me a while! ... show more

    • Nice heavy rug, but probably not the most durable
Color: Grey Size: 4' x 6' (Rectangular)
I got this rug from Amazon Warehouse and was expecting it to arrive in a less than ideal state. It had a hole which I tied off then sewed back together and you can't tell it was ever there now. I expect I will have to frequently repair this rug, but it should be easy work. This rug is nice and heavy, with a massage-like quality under barefeet. My boys and I enjoy walking over it and even resting on it. The color of this rug is a bit irregular, not just a solid gray, but with flecks of natural color here and there. Possibly this will aid in hiding stains and whatever additional repairs required. ... show more

    • Discoloration, and Shedding After One Year — Too Large to Return
Color: Light Ivory Size: 7'8" x 10' (Rectangular)
Review Image by Meme
I purchased this rug in 2023 and initially was happy with it, however over time several issues became impossible to ignore. Shortly after unrolling it, there was a noticeable odor coming from the rug that took a very long time to fade. In addition to that, I began to notice areas of discoloration that made the rug look uneven in tone even though it had not been exposed to spills or harsh cleaning products. For the first year, shedding was not an issue. However, after about a year of normal use, the rug began shedding significantly. Fibers started coming loose and collecting on the floor and clothing, and the overall appearance of the rug declined. I would have returned it when these problems became apparent, but the rug is extremely large and heavy, which made returning or transporting it unrealistic. Between the odor, discoloration, and shedding that developed over time, I’m disappointed in how this rug has held up and would encourage others to consider long-term durability before purchasing. ... show more

I really like the size and color of this rug. Unfortunately however one side became unraveled after the first vacuuming. I am generally very careful on how I move the vacuum over the edges so I was surprised to discover this. I started using the rug at the end of October and just vacuumed it this week. Well after the return window closed. Bummer! Outside of this problem, I would order a similar rug in the future. ... show more

    • Chunky Jute Rug
Color: Light Ivory Size: 5' x 8' (Rectangular)
It’s a gorgeous rug! No shedding and clean when unpackaged. The color is very light, almost white. Chunky and nice to walk on.
