I rarely review things but this rug deserves a review. I bought this right before Thanksgiving just to make my living room look fresh and clean and it was cheap for the size. Wasnt expecting longevity but I’m amazed with this rug!! I have 6 dogs, 4 cats and 3 kids. I also have a doggie door 2 feet from the rug that leads to my average backyard. This rug takes a beating. I do have a good carpet shampooer but I can have huge spots and mud in it and with a 15 minute shampoo, it’s white and clean again. I will recommend it 100x over!! ... show more

This rug is beautiful and soft. It completely transformed the look of my living room. It is huge, although it isn't really 8x10. More like 7.75 x 2 inches short of 10ft, but I'm not complaining. I really do love it. My dogs like it too. Looks just like the picture. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because it does smell a lot like chemicals. I got another smaller rug from the same company and that one smells less like chemicals than this one, maybe because this one is so big? I'm hoping the smell will go away soon. If not I'll have to try shampooing it, which I REALLY don't want to do. Even with the smell it isn't strong enough for me to not want it, but if you're sensitive to smells be aware it definitely is there. Update one year later: The smell goes away after a few weeks, but will come back if you shampoo the rug =(. I have 4 of these and decided to shampoo 3 of them so my house smells weird again. I put them outside and doused them in spray and carpet spinkles. I don't really want to deal with this smell again, but other than that it's great very stain resistant and still very pretty. I hope this manufacturer stops using whatever makes it stink for future rugs. ... show more

Great 3'x 5' rug for price and style. Creamy off white with black print is even and distinct. Picture shown on light beige carpet. Rug is true to size, thin with well sewn edges and backing which is not non-slip. It does slip on tile floors but lays well on carpet.

Rug itself is beautiful and looks just like the picture. The issue is I’ve had it now for over 24 hours and it smells horribly of chemicals. I even sprinkled it with baking powder and vacuumed it and it still smells horrible to the point that it’s giving us headaches and we had to take it outside.
