IF YOUR HESITATING TO BUY THIS DON'T! I've had my fair share of different bed frames and I was hesitant to buy this one because I had bought one from Amazon before and was supper upset with it. So when I bought this one I was prepared for the worst but was super happy to see that the box came in perfect condition and nothing was missing or broken. It took me only an hour to put together by myself. The instructions were very easy to follow and it was super easy to assemble. Even though it was packaged very well, several pieces had rust on them. I only put four stars instead of five because of the rust. It obviously wasn't enough to have me send it back. Spray painting the individual pieces with rust-proof paint might be a good plan. I didn't, however, because I was so excited to get it put together. One of the reviewers said it took several hours to assemble. I, a 50-year-old woman, put it together by myself in about an hour and a half. I DID, however, have the right tools for the job. The bed came with its own tools, but they aren't the best. If you use those, plan on taking a LONG time to put it together. Also, if your mattress is thin, you will feel the slats. I recently bought a good mattress, but the one I used before this would have needed a piece of plywood or something underneath. If you have a good mattress, I'm sure you will be fine. I took a nap on it after assembly, and felt nothing but rested. I love my princess bed. ... show more

I work with and assemble furniture for a living, and must say this is an excellent product. You can use a drill, but I just used the tools it came packaged with. Don't be fooled by more expensive wooden frames, this will not only be a better value, but probably better quality. No parts were bent, and I was able to assemble it without needing an extra set of hands. Honestly, Ive seen a lot of crap from "high end" furniture stores, and this was a pleasure to build. Sturdy enough for kids to make forts, and jump around in, or you and your spouse! 😉 ... show more

Looks great and is VERY sturdy! Box was heavy though. My boyfriend helped me put it together (took maybe 1.5 hours) but I definitely could’ve done it myself since the instructions were easy to read. Tools come in the box. They provide extra screws just in case as well! Very pleased and I may add curtains and a bed skirt soon too. I bought this with 0 reviews and was worried at first but extremely satisfied. Definitely worth the price! Tip: If you want the bed a little higher (I found it a bit short personally) I highly recommend getting using a box spring with your mattress. Decided to use mine once the bed was put together. This has to be the creakiest bed I’ve ever owned. It will leave you and your partner restless. Every little movement the bed makes noise. You get what you pay for that’s for sure! Aside from the I like the frame I guess.. But my king mattress kinda wedges in between the top where I guess you call it the head board is. I’d recommend getting a different bed due to the loudness of it. It’s actually very frustrating, I’m a light sleeper. I don’t know what the hell these other comments are talking about, it’s absolutely not quite! And I’ve tightened the bolts as well still didn’t make much of a difference. I’ve had this frame for a month now!! Oh and I have like 12 pillows on my bed it will continuously wedged in the “head board” and work it’s way to the ground. Save your money and buy something of quality. As far as Assembly goes it was very easy. As long as you can follow directions. I’m pregnant and did it basically on my own just needed help holding a few pieces up, that I could hold together on my own and screw together. Trust me I tried. Metal seems sturdy I guess. My mattress hasn’t fell to the floor yet, that’s good right? lol. ... show more

Delivery was early and assembly was so easy we immediately put our temporary matterss on and took a quick nap, "the picture you see" it was before we decorated it. It's a kings size very sturdy which is amazing since I was a little worried. Im honestly beyond amazed. Not a scratch on it and everything fit well. Again very sturdy and we will have an additional king size backboard which I can picture update that is not Included but we felt was necessary for us . Value for the money is great for it being a king size, sturdiness, and easy to assemble. Will definitely recommend to anyone. ... show more
