This rug is vacuum sealed in square shape, which means once unpacked it is going to have creases. There are instructions for getting them out, but we just set it up and casually walking on it has made the majority of them disappear in less than a week, with one stubborn one left, which I truly believe will come out following the recommended instructions to remove them. You should know this is a "runner" style rug, so it's not going to be very thick, but it's thick enough. It is soft, has good coloring, and seems to be holding up well to daily traffic of a family with dogs. We got the 2x8 size to place in our front hall, it looks and feels well built and we decided to get a second one for another hallway in the home. So far, it doesn't slide from regular use but if a dog is sleeping on it then jumps up at full speed it will bunch up some and sometimes that pushes the tag out from under it, which I guess you could call a con, but really it's a dog problem, not the rugs problem and the tag could just be cut off. It's also worth mentioning, measurements show it to be true to size. Overall we think this rug is a winner and couldn't be happier with it's softness and build quality, especially for the price. 5 out of 5 stars.

I ordered the 2' x 8' beige runner for my hallway, and I'm very happy with it. The size is accurate, and the long but narrow shape works perfectly as a hallway runner! The pattern has a faded antique/vintage appearance, but there is also a slightly more modern feel to the design. It gives it the character of an older rug without making it look worn out or overly traditional. The material was one of the things that impressed me most. It is very soft to the touch and has a slight amount of padding or cushioning to it, so it feels comfortable under bare feet. At the same time, it is definitely a low-pile rug, so it doesn't have the thickness or bulk of a traditional area rug. For a hallway, I actually prefer that combination because it feels soft without being overly thick. The rug arrived vacuum sealed and folded rather than rolled, so it had noticeable fold lines and creases when I first took it out of the package. I didn't use an iron, steamer, weights, or anything else to flatten it. I simply laid it out and gave it some time. The creases gradually disappeared on their own, and within about a week it was lying completely flat, including the corners. I was particularly pleased that the corners lay flat, rather than curling upward, which seems to be an issue with other area rugs. The non-slip backing also works very well. Mine stays where I put it and doesn't slide around as I'm walking over it, so I haven't needed to put a separate rug pad or carpet grippers underneath it. I haven't washed it yet, so I can't speak to how it holds up after going through the wash, but everything I've been able to evaluate so far has been excellent. It's soft and comfortable underfoot, stays in place, lies completely flat, and has a very attractive vintage-inspired appearance. It has been a great addition to my hallway. Definitely 5 stars; great quality for the price!

I’ve owned several washable rugs, including some of the more well-known brands, and one thing I’ve noticed is that many washable rugs tend to be very thin and flat. This one is still lightweight and flexible, but it has a noticeably softer texture with just a little bit of plushness, which I really like. My daughter's 2 roommates also loved the design, a bonus when you can get 3 girls to agree. We put it in a hallway in an older home, and it works especially well there because it has some softness without feeling bulky. The rug also looks well made, and the texture gives it a nicer feel than many of the washable rugs I’ve tried. So far, the quality and feel have been very impressive. I did have to add a rug pad so it would not slip but with that, the rug has held in place despite being located in the main hallway.

This runner rug is the perfect length for small hallway. It’s lightweight, thin, stays down well and washable. It appears quite durable and non-slip. There is NO odor to it at all. I will say the vintage brown is more black than brown so if you’re looking for a lighter shade consider the other colors available. This runner is superbly soft underfoot. Very inviting and could be used easily in a bedroom. Overall, a very nice, very useful and very versatile runner.

I am very selective about rugs because we have a large home, two dogs, a mix of open living spaces and high-traffic areas, and I need something that looks good without becoming high maintenance. This runner has worked well for that kind of use. The faux cashmere surface is soft underfoot and has a smoother feel than I expected from such a low-pile rug. At only about 0.2 inches thick, it stays fairly flat and does not create a bulky edge, which makes it practical for hallways, entry areas or anywhere a door needs to clear the rug easily. The beige vintage floral pattern is subtle enough that it does not fight with the neutral flax, ivory, taupe and natural tones I already use throughout the house. One thing I noticed immediately is that it feels shorter than an 8-foot runner once it is actually on the floor. I would definitely measure the intended space carefully instead of assuming the stated size will visually fill a longer hallway the way you expect. That is the main reason I would not rate it at the very top. Where it really earns points is washability. With puppies in the house, washable rugs are a huge advantage for me, and this one has handled washing very well. It came out looking good without the surface becoming rough or the pattern looking distorted. That makes it much more practical than a delicate decorative runner that I would constantly worry about. The non-slip backing also helps it stay in place better than lightweight runners that slide every time a dog runs across them. The backing feels integrated into the rug rather than like a separate rubber layer that is going to peel away immediately. Overall, the materials and construction feel good for a washable decorative runner. It gives me the softer, more finished look I want while still being realistic for a home with pets and everyday traffic. I would just prefer the length to feel a little more true to what I picture when I think of an 8-foot runner. Otherwise, it has washed well, feels nice and looks attractive in a neutral home.

We love our new coffee table rug - it's got a perfect color to complement our natural wood flooring and living room furniture set. It has a rubber/silicone mesh underneath the distressed blue design that grips the waxed floor and makes it impervious to slipping and sliding with day-to-day use. While not lush, there is a give and softness that lends itself to being seated upon for short durations. At 5' x 3' (1,5 m. by 90 cm.) wide, I think the quality of the rug matches its price tag and thankfully, there was no offensive odor when the plastic packaging was removed. Behind the product label were instructions on the upkeep (example: no hot ironing, can go into the washing machine and low heat to air dry only). Ours arrived folded up and the instructions say to iron any creases but the creases smoothed out quickly (almost instantly) when we placed the rug under the table. I think it's going to last longer than anyone can expect for furnishings under USD $30.00 due to the craftsmanship.
