This hair spray is really nice for a light hold. I French braid my long hair almost daily. This spray is strong enough to control the little fly-aways, yet soft enough that my hair doesn't really look or feel like it is sprayed. I feel this spray offers a better hold than other aerosol sprays that I have tried. Trigger spray hairsprays get so gunky on my hair. They just shoot at one spot, which is why I like aerosols better. This spray provides the good of both worlds, the ease of aerosol with a bit more hold of trigger sprays. A can lasts me a good 4 months, making it pretty economical. If you are looking for an ultra tight stiff hold to withstand a hurricane, this spray will not do that. But, for the average hold of a simple style or control fly-aways, this one works well. ... show more

This is my favorite hairspray ~ great fragrance, holds softly, has a nice mist, but...it arrived with a broken spray button on top (it only sputters). I attempted to fix the sprayer to no avail, and was extremely disappointed to find out that it was not returnable through Amazon. I called the Joico company repeatedly, with no response.
