I like this texture gel quite a bit, it came to me highly recommended. I used to use an off brand pomade type stuff, which was very similar. When you apply this to your hair it dries and hardens your hair in a way that looks natural, not like that wet gel look that you get from actual gel. When you apply this in your hair it doesn't leave your hands feeling sticky or gross and it is actually powerful enough that I usually wake up with my hair sticking up like I had it the day before, which is impressive. So why only 4 stars? Well I am completely satisfied with the product, but would I buy it again? the answer is no. My old pomade was not quite as good but fairly close, but it was only $4 for the same size bottle, so I just don't feel this is 3x better to justify paying 3x more for it. ... show more

This has got to be THE best product for hair which you would like to sculpt. I wear a pixie presently, and once I put this on my hair? Wow! Curl, twist, spike. Anything I want! This product does create buildup so I would recommend a clarifying shampoo at least once a week. Regardless, a great product. A small amount would even do well with any hair length. Dope by far blows away the cheaper brands in the store, and absolutely beats any salon price. I highly recommend if you love to have a unique style to your hair. ... show more

This is the best gel you will ever find!! It’s water based so if your hair dries weird, just spray a little water and refix it. Washes out super easy! Smells good and has a good hold that doesn’t hurt.
