For size reference, I've attached a picture with quarters. They are a lot larger than a quarter, and nearly twice as thick. I like larger coins with some weight to them. Not only do they feel nice and look good, but the heft helps if you want to do some coin magic with them. Give than these look a little John Wick-ish, maybe I'll have to come up with some sort of routine that plays into that. They are fairly smooth though, as the engravings are fairly shallow (just FYI, as that can affect people trying to do slight of hand). Each coin comes in its own individual protective case, which is cool. The cases are a little hard to get open, but that also just means they are safe if you chuck 'em all in a bag. You know they won't be dinging each other up. Too often I've gotten coins and they ended up being a lot thinner than I like, but these are an excellent thickness (though I wouldn't mind if they were even 50% thicker, but I'm weird like that, lol). ... show more

Really cool set of 6 John Wick coins! The coins are nice quality, accurate engraving & a hefty weight to them. They each come with a plastic coin protector/case too. A fun movie collectible & would make a good gift for any John Wick fan. Highly recommend these!

This design seems to be based on the stamped/pressed design used for distance scenes in the movie, but there are differences. For example, on the lion side the bottom point of the shield should touch the top left of the second M instead of the top right. The rays behind the lion should extend closer to the border at the bottom. Etc. It has decent weight. The base metal contains iron because a magnet sticks to it. The thickness is similar to images I found of the official film crew after party invitation coins and other on-screen distance shot coins. Those were also stamped/pressed rounds for the original John Wick. The film did have cast rounds that had much deeper relief that was used for some close-up shots. Deep relief casting gives it better contrast for the camera. Those cast rounds were also much thicker than stamped/pressed rounds and the rays behind the lion were incuse (impressed below the surface) instead of relief (raised above the surface), unlike the coin in this listing. Because of not being screen accurate and not having certificate of authenticity from the studio, I would not rate this as 'collectible'. I doubt any serious coin collector would want it for their collection as anything more than a curiosity, certainly not as an investment. So, that all that being said, most people will never notice the difference in this 'coin' and I think it's fine and probably durable enough to carry around for cosplay. You can ditch the plastic coin protection covers or keep them for use with actual collectibles. ... show more
