I really like how this product works on my curly hair; I would say it is as good as salon products I was paying 3x as much for! However, I give it a 4/5 solely because I’m not a huge fan of the smell. It’s a rather strong cheap hairspray-like fragrance. So if that smell doesn’t bother you then it won’t be an issue. And it’s not like a scent that you smell through the entirety of the wear, but it’s definitely there when putting it on and while my hair is drying. I have natural curly hair. I have been using this product for maybe 25 years (?). Now my hair is grey, and it's a little less curly. It still makes my hair very soft to the touch. No frizzing and humidity just makes more curls.
