I didn’t buy this product from Amazon but did buy from another place. It lasted 4 years with using it 3 times a year on 2 acres. After 4 years the tires dry rot so bad they wouldn’t hold air longer then 15 minutes. They had tubes in them but it looked like the exposed wire from the tire dry rot punctured both tire tubes. The gears stripped out the same season the tires stopped holding air so I trashed it and bought an Agri Fab. It was properly cleaned , maintained and kept in a shed and still only got 12-15 uses out of the John Deere spreader ... show more

    • Really poor design, not the quality we used to expect from them
This assembled easy enough. The dispenser rate adjustment actually was the best part of this, when normally it’s the main problem with tow behind spreaders. After that though this thing is really a waste of time and money. I have a two acre yard and used this thing 5 times before it was just unfixable. Did not use it one time without having to fix repair or replace something. The worst thing though is it sits at an angle where the last 20% won’t drain out unless your going uphill. That’s pitiful.
