Please listen to Miranda’s review and DO NOT buy this couch. Don’t be deceived by any positive comments. This couch is AWFUL. It took hours to put together. A lot of the parts do not line up correctly, so now portions of the couch are unaligned, leaving big gaps between cushions. This couch is unbelievably uncomfortable and stiff. It has also already begun falling apart after 3 months of very light use. The cushions sit on wood planks, and several of them have already broke. This is absolutely the stupidest purchase I have ever made and I regret it every single time I try to relax after a long day at work. Please do not make the same mistake I did. ... show more

I love this unit. I bought it a month ago. Still great!!! I bought the larger unit. It’s for my man cave in the basement. It came in four boxes. It’s pretty easy to put together. I had screw gun attachments. So it’s much faster. Everything is labeled abcdefg etc. I just took all the materials out and put everything in order. Follow the instructions carefully read twice if you have to. If you miss a step. It will mess up the other steps in the process. But, the material is nice. Cushions are firm. For supports the have these wood slats. That the cushions sit on. I’m 5,10 205lbs and it’s fine for me. I wouldn’t plan on jumping up and down on these. The storage is quite ample. The pull out bed is very convenient and it’s firm but comfortable. My fiancé even thinks it’s comfortable. Which is quite the compliment. Had some friends over for football. They were impressed as well. Even asked for the website. So if your looking for something inexpensive and you have some time on your hands (4 hours) this is what your looking for! First things first, this couch comes completely unassembled. If you are a fan of Legos, building things, or challenges and have a free day, then this couch may be for you! While it can be assembled with the provided tool, I strongly suggest a drill with various bits. Second, the cushions are firm. If your tush prefers something softer then this couch is not for you. That being said the firmness I feel will hold up better over time. It is firm but not uncomfortable, the cushions are thick enough where you don't feel the wooden supports underneath. Third (and the reason for the 4 star rating) the back cushions could use a lot more stuffing. Even after 48 hours I would have hoped they would have puffed up more. If you treated them like accent pillows and fluffy them they do get a little puffier but the actual cover could support more stuffing. On to the things we love! We LOVE the versatility and storage space. It allows us to use the space as a bed for a guest (we will be putting a mattress topper on top for more comfort when sleeping). The material is good quality and the couch over all feels sturdy. It is the right fit for the space. The trundle bed portion and lift for the storage space is easy to operate. Greatest feature for parents/guardians of children or pets is that all the covers are removable and washable!! The cushions Velcro to the frame. When assembling remember to remove the cloth strip from the Velcro on the frame and the black backing on the back cushions goes down. Over all we are happy with with the purchase and would recommend to those we know like a firm couch. I will be going to the fabric store for additional stuffing for the back pillows though. ... show more

I bought this couch back in October. I will agree with some that say it took a while to put together, it did. Me also being in PT after a car accident didn't make it easier and I feel it took me even longer than it normally would have taken me. All in all, cripple even it only took me about 3 hours total. I only had to ask my neighbor to help me with one part because I couldn't hold and screw with my injury for that part. I love my couch. I actually luve in a studio apartment, so this is not only my couch, but my primary bed also. I had no real issues like these others are saying with regards to holes not lining up or the arms not touching the ground, etc. The directions were very clear to me. I pretty much followed them step by step with no issues. The framing for the pull out part is probably took the longest time and that is due to me wanting to make sure I put the spring in correctly. I have no issues with pulling the bed in or out. Since I do use this as my primary bed it does stay out more than in, I also put a mattress topper/cover on it for a more comfortable sleep, (mainly one that keeps me cool), and to protect my seat cushions. Is it heavy? yes, but I have moved it when needed and if I have to do any major moving, I would just detach the pieces from each other. Would I buy it again? Yes I would, im almost sad I didnt get the larger one with the chaise attached. I also want to note that I weight over 250 lbs and my couch has not gotten weak yet (knock on wood). I have stood on it (both the pull out part and the main part) no issues. I normally dont do these long reviews, however, I felt that I would be more detailed in this review due to it being furniture. I am very happy with my purchase, I have had it almost a year now and its probably one of the best couches I've had in a while. Hope this helps ... show more

The couch is exactly as pictured, it looks great, incredibly comfortable, and works perfectly for the space we have it in. The issue is the wooden planks that act as support throughout the couch, they're not sturdy whatsoever and break very easily. This was not the easiest to assemble, so make sure to have to least two other people helping you put this together. All in all it's a fair couch for the money spent. ... show more
