Why did I receive only part of my bed frame? King size comes in two boxes and may arrive separately. Queen size ships in one box and usually arrives together. The hydraulic rods won’t compress. Is this a problem? The rods are fully extended when shipped. Install them and use the mattress weight to press down. Two-person pressing helps. What if the rods still don’t work after installation? If the rods still don’t work, we’ll send a replacement. It may take 7–15 days due to overseas stock delays. What should I check during hydraulic rod installation? Make sure directions are correct, grooves are aligned as shown, and the structure is stable. How do I confirm the correct installation direction of the hydraulic rods? Refer to the manual and image to align the N1 position and groove direction. Incorrect setup may prevent proper function. I am very pleased with this bed. The storage option is awesome and easy to use. The bed is solidly built and sturdy and looks pretty too. A few things to note: 1. The package it arrives in is hella heavy. I am single woman and live in an apartment complex where my packages get sent to a mail room. I did have the foresight to have it delivered to a friend’s house so that it wouldn’t get stolen, which ended up being good for a different reason. The package was so heavy that if I had sent it to my mail room, I wouldn’t have been able to get it to my apartment by myself. It ended up taking me and a friend to move it. And we STRUGGLED to carry it. 2. This bed absolutely can be put together by one person. I did it alone, but it took every frustrating second of 4 hours to do to. So just prepare to spend a long time on it. 3. I found the instructions to be easy to follow, with one exception. Towards the end, I had to undo some work because there are two parts labeled with the exact same part number which made me think they were interchangeable. Spoiler alert, they were not. So after putting them together, I had to undo part of the bed to switch out the parts. I don’t remember the part numbers, but they are the long, straight pieces of the rectangular metal frame that holds the mattress. Thankfully, that was somewhat easy to undo and switch out. Otherwise, even though the building process took forever, it went without a hitch. Oh, I just remembered one other thing that wasn’t in the instructions but ended up being important. The instructions for attaching the metal frame holding the mattress to the lifting mechanism don’t tell you that you can only get the screws on loosely at first. I wouldn’t worry about getting those tight until after you put the struts on that hold the frame up. Once you put those on and the lifter is extended, that’s when you can fully tighten those bolts down. When the frame isn’t extended, there is no way to fully tighten them, but it’s also crucial that they do eventually get tightened. ... show more

I switched out the beds in my house for storage beds and am so happy with the extra space it has gained us. I put this bed together myself in about an hour and a half (I'm a small woman). Instructions were easy to follow and I used the tools provided. My mattress is an extra deep mattress so we didn't lose height by ditching the box springs. It does make the lift function a little more difficult than my other beds but as long as I remove the pillows it stays lifted without issue. Got this for our 5 year old as a big boy bed. 45min to put it together if you use tools that aren’t supplied by them. They will work just going to be a long process. Tons of space underneath!

The “light grey” is so much darker than the pictures illustrated. And you cannot return unless YOU want to pay for the shipping which is ridiculous because of the weight. Other than that, the storage part is awesome.

It was truly pretty easy to set up- I was very impressed I was able to do it by myself too. Most important thing to know is that when you set up the bed and the hydraulics are on, the frame will likely not go down until you put the mattress on.. i made the mistake of thinking I could pull it down, then freaked out that I couldn't and wound up undoing them to see if I messed it up.. after watching a few youtube videos i learned once the mattress was on it'd be good and it was! ... show more

It’s not a gorgeous bed, but it is very functional for my storage needs. My husband put it together… he didn’t appreciate all the pieces, but he said he figured out some shortcuts (without compromising safety).
