This bed was very easy to put together. My husband put it together in 45 minutes. I uploaded a picture so that you can see how high it is with a box spring. I like my beds to be high so I used a box spring. Using a box spring will make the headboard not look as tall but it still looks great. The bed frame seems to be very strong and sturdy. We love our new bed frame! Easy installation & directions to follow Velvet is a soft velvet. Nice platform and plenty of slats/supports to stay sturdy. Only reason I gave 4 instead of 5 is the pictures give a slight deception that the back is taller than it is. I’m sure the measurements match, but I chose not to check lol. ... show more

I absolutely love my bed. The headboard is so soft and elegant. I feel like a queen. Lol It's a really beautiful piece of furniture. It was easy to put together. It took 2 of us about an hour. I'm so impressed with how well it was packaged. Each piece was wrapped well and they wrapped the styrofoam in plastic. It was so nice not having to clean up styrofoam balls everywhere. I've ordered a lot of items over the years and I've never seen anyone pack an item this well. This is actually my second one from this seller .
