  • Working great, review has update
Style: Rose and Flower Size: 4lbs
Original review July, 2021: I wasn't sure what to expect but got this based on the reviews here. I came home with greatly marked down clearance rose bushes this year that were in really sad shape. The price was so low, in fact, that even if only 1 out of the 5 I got survived, I'd still be ahead. So that should give you an idea of how sad they were, lol. I planted them in their spots in the garden with the fertilizer and checked on them periodically. Within 2 days one was getting a bud. Ok,I thought, maybe that one will make it after all. But each time I checked on them, another one was doing better than it had been. Currently, it's been about a month since I brought those bushes home and they are all alive and blooming and I've even seen some new growth. Then I put some of the fertilizer on my miniature roses that were struggling in a large deck container... 3 out of 4 of the colors are now in full bloom! Waiting to see if that last color will come back. So out of 5 regular sized and 4 miniature roses, only one doesn't have blooms, and none of them look like they are struggling anymore. I'm really happy with this stuff and would definitely recommend based on my experience with it. I'm not sure what other flowers like this stuff but I'm currently experimenting in my garden to see. Everything I put it on so far has been good. I even got brand new bleeding hearts after I thought the bush was done for the season. Update August, 2021: All my roses bloomed beautifully, even that last one I was waiting for - look below for a list of bushes I currently have. A month after my last review of this product and I've got every bush with blooms and the foliage is perfect. I'm so happy with this stuff and I'm a lifetime customer as long as they don't mess with the formula. Roses I have in the garden right now: Miniature (potted): red, pink, white, and yellow Bushes, not in pots: Double Knockout - red Miniature Double Knockout (2) - red Drift - apricot As of this writing, every bush I got so far have been clearance and in sad states (some even from Walmart!). I am so happy with how beautifully they have recovered and are rewarding me with beautiful blooms! One more update, mid August, 2021: Definitely going to stick with this product from now on! Not only did it do my roses so good but also really helped other flowers in my garden really pop! I did a general fertilizing of my flower garden and everything in there just got so happy. Flowers that seemed to really like this stuff were: calendula, zinnia, impatiens, begonia, sunflowers... In another bed there were: miniature roses, balloon flowers... even my blanket flowers came back after I thought they were done for the season. Come to think of it, my coleus grew like mad right after applying this stuff. I hadn't put it together before writing this review. I was just out there thinking how huge they got all of a sudden! I guess we'll see how the perennials like it next year when their bloom time comes. This will be part of my amendment of the soil plan next spring before I plant new stuff. I'm really looking forward to a beautiful garden next year! ... show more

  • Works great but super smelly
Style: Fruit and Citrus Size: 4 lbs
Great for my citrus trees. Also use it on my olives & figs. Its very stinky for the first couple of days and I have to keep telling my dogs to leave it alone as they get obsessed with it..

  • Stinking Cute
Style: Palm Tree Size: 4 lbs
My house smelled like a zoo for the 1st week. I had to buy plug ins, placing them on the highest setting to mask the odor. I also stored the remaining in a ziplock bag in the shed. 1 wek later, my palms have already changed. I administered the recommended dosage while the soil was dry, mixed it around a bit then generously watered and misted the branches. My oldest palm was suffering and I couldnt figure out why after trying so many solutions. Now, day by day I could see it changing, branches lifting, leaves turning greener and shinier, firming and sprouting up. While I hate the poop smell of this fertilizer, this combo has been better than any other in sprucing my plants. I'm going to try it on the others that have the same mineral ratio, just in a smaller dose. I do like Jobes plant food spikes for smalller plants also. I don't have moisture issues because of the double pot method with clay beads at the bottom for drainage. My soil is aerated when I fertilized, I also use a mixture of cinnamon, crushed eggshell powder and black pepper to fight fungus/mold, etc. This has always worked rather than using the onion, coffee, banana or egg shell watering method. ... show more

  • So far so good!
Style: Tomato and Vegetable Size: 4 lbs
Our tomato plant we bought had been growing quite well but without flowers, leading me to research fertilizer that is higher in phosphorus and potassium than nitrogen. Game across this and I enjoyed the fact that these are easy to apply, slow release granules to add to the planters. It felt almost immediate but after a few days, I started noticing little flower pods on my tomato plants! So far, so good with this fertilizer as the flowers keep growing. ... show more

  • Great organic granular fertilizer, spreads well on lawn
Style: All Purpose Size: 16 lbs
This is great organic granular fertilizer. Works great on my lawn with a hand crank handheld spreader. I particularly get it for being granular so works great with spreader, and doesn't send out a cloud of dust. Haven't used it much on general plants.

  • Great alternative to Espoma
Style: Tomato and Vegetable Size: 4 lbs
Seems to work well, and I like that the granules are more uniform and less dusty than Espoma. It also doesn't seem quite as stinky as Espoma, and still has lots of good microorganisms.

  • Product leaked due to cut in bag
Style: All Purpose Size: 16 lbs
You need to know that because this is an organic fertilizer, it stinks. So once the bag is opened, that smell is going to leak out. My bag had a pretty large slit in it, so the product leaked out into the smaller box it was in, the larger shipping box from Amazon, and even out of that box. So now I have stinky fertilizer in my foyer. I hope it’s good for my plants, because It certainly isn’t good for my house. ... show more
