So I bought these as a recommendation for doing my own ties in locs and extensions. When I tell you we only tied in 30 pieces of hair but had to use the whole freaking of rubber bands, its because every three would break and the 4th would stay. There is no way possible these are for braces. They were inconsistently sized, almost like a defect. And they would snap will putting in my hair. These bands keep breaking after a couple of hours and are much thicker than the other ones. Very disappointing that these would break that easily. I will look for another brand.
