I switched from the Comet lip mount which protruded from the hood. I felt it looked bulky but it worked. I discovered this jl antenna mount and like it better as it hugs the body of the jeep better.

This is great if you want to install a cb on your Jeep. We used this on our gladiator and it is really easy to install and use. the finish is holding up great and we love the location of our antenna.
