Got this for my parents. The high contrast of the black background and the markers makes it easier for their older eyes to see. The markers, however, could be a bit better quality. They’re difficult to get going and seem to dry up quickly. Ordered some better ones and they work great!

Not a real chalk board but they are still very nice. The markers don’t always work great, and the blue is only vibrant the first use. I’m pretty sure you have to the the whole pen process at every use not just the first. It does erase very easily with a paper towel. I really like the size of the pieces, it’s big enough to write multiple things and it’s real easy to use and navigate

This worked out great! The chalk markers are very visible and worl fine, but won't last as they're small. Finding good neon chalk markers is harder than you'd think (going off of reviews for quality and brightness). Now, if I can just get the kid to actually DO the chores...

I had high hopes for this magnetic chalkboard weekly planner and chore chart combo, but it left me with mixed feelings. On the positive side, the design is visually appealing, and the included neon bright liquid chalk markers add a fun touch. However, I encountered some issues that impacted its usability. The magnetic backing isn't as strong as expected, causing the board to slide down the refrigerator occasionally. Additionally, the surface doesn't clean as easily as I'd like; remnants of previous writing often linger, making the board look cluttered. While the bonus grocery list and notepad are nice additions, the core functionality of the planner could be improved. It's an okay product, but I expected better performance given the price.
