  • Consistent Quality and Excellent Power Output Consistent Quality and Excellent Power Output
Set name: P-Type 100W 2pcs
Overall I am satisfied with these 100 watt panels. Packaging has been consistent without any damage after I have purchased a total of 8 panels. My panels are mounted flat on top of my camper. With four panels, I have seen as much as 350 watts at a non ideal mounting angle. This is 87 watts a panel. I've since moved to 7 JJN panels on my camper. I cannot comment yet on total power output as it's been cloudy. However, if I can manage 87 watts a panel, I'm expecting 600 watts. Crossing my fingers for 700 watts. I've yet to see 100+ watts from the 100 watt panels like some reviewers. However, this could be due to angle. Mine are all wired in parallel. Lastly, I have 1 panel (8th jjn 100 watt panel) powering my seldom used shed. It getting the job done for led lighting purposes and light duty power usage. All my panels are on MPPT controllers with appropriately sized wiring and limited voltage drop. Overall, I'm happy with my panels vs price paid. I'm curious to try the 200 watt panel and maybe move my 8th 100 watt to my camper. I will update this review with any relevant information at a later date. UPDATE- 5/26/23 Installed an 8th 100watt panel. I produced 720 watts of solar power yesterday in not ideal conditions. Intermittent cloud cover, non ideal solar panel angles due to being mounted on camper roof. This is 90 percent of total advertised output. I am certain at this point that if all panels were pointed at ideal angles vs sun position, they would produce the 800 watts or more. Overall, I am very satisfied with these panels. Now off to upgrading my battery bank. Update 10/21/23 Upgraded to 10 panels (1000) watts on my camper. I am currently only able to achieve 65% of rated output. Please keep in mind that in June I was able to get up to 95% output and this is on a flat roof, no angle. I tested all my panels at 3.5 amps with a short circuit test via a fluke clamp DMM. Consistent output readings were observed. I then took 2 panels and angled them until I got max output facing the sun and achieved 5.5 amps. It's obvious that angle and direction in relation to the sun can make a drastic difference. 3.5 amps at 20 volts = 70 watts (70%) 5.5 amps at 20 volts = 110 watts (110%) It did not take voltage readings, so I'm going with a ballpark voltage of 20. However, panel angle at optimum made a difference of 63%. All this to say, the panels checked out and are working correctly. Panel angle makes a drastic difference. I will say my latest shipment of two panels I did experience slight shipping damage and the glass has light scratching. Update 3/2024. Still utilizing a non ideal angle. It is early spring in Texas (Northern Hemisphere) and the sun is not at maximum height/ angle to provide max solar power conditions. I have 10 JJN 100 watt panels, I am currently producing 810 watts out of 100 watts of panels. For a total output by percent of 81%. I suspect this may go up in late spring into summer. I will post a screen shot of my output. Which shows .81 KW or 810 watts. Still impressed and happy in 2024. Stay tuned for an additional 2 panels in the future. Update 4/19/24 Later spring now in southeast Texas. Partly cloudy day with intermittent sun. Was able to produce 980 watts (.98kw) on historic chart with an instantaneous reading of 920 watts (.92kw). This is 92% of the 1000 watt rated output with panels lying mostly flat. To give you some insight into what I am able to accomplish with this. I have a 48volt 300AH power bank of Lifepo4. I live in my camper currently full time. Fully charged at 58 volt, I have about 17.4kwh of power storage. 48 volts is not full capacity on 12voltX4 bank of Lifepo4. I run my microwave, phones, refrigerator, blow dryer, laptop, cellphone charging, vacuum, lights, tv, Xbox, PC, exhaust fan, etc off my system. I do not run my AC or water heater off solar. Future plans though. By midday on sunny day, I have completely recharged my batteries. Excellent performance. Update- 4/21/24 Cold front came in on a cloudy day, clouds broke to full sun. I was able to achieve 1060 watts (1.06KW) on ten 100 watt panels (1000 watts). This wasn't short lived as I was able to achieve 1040 watts a few minutes earlier. Typically, it would be much hotter in April here. Current ambient temperature is 62F at around 1pm. I believe this set the stage for a perfect environment of cooler temperatures and full sun . With all this being said, I was able to achieve 106% of rated power at non ideal solar panel angle. They are nearly flat and oriented North/South almost perfectly. With all this being said, I should have upgraded my review rating to 5 stars long ago. Unless the panels produce a crazy high number, this likely concludes my updates. Please don't hesitate to use these panels. Photos of all outputs have been uploaded and verified with secondary shunt based power monitor. ... show more

  • Great quality and generate more than the rated output!
Set name: N-Type 200W 2pcs
These 200-watt JJN bifacial solar panels are an excellent value for the money. I have 4 panels now (and plan to add 4 more), and I use them to charge a portable solar generator. In good sunlight, I have seen the 4 panels generate 880 watts of power, which equates to 220 watts per panel, and is well above the stated 200-watt rating. This makes charging my generators even quicker than normal. They are high quality, durable, and are easy to install. The MC4 connectors make it easy to connect to my existing system. They are relatively lightweight and easier to manage than 400 watt panels. I would highly recommend these panels. ... show more

  • Good package - quality, delivery, price and performance.
Set name: P-Type 100W 2pcs
Very good quality panels. I can find no faults and have no suggestions for the manufacture. Very impressed with the output and will venture to say I think they are under rated. I've purchased the 200's and 400's bi-facial. They were delivered by Amazon freight and not even a scratch. I'm sure that cost JJN something more than some others that turn them over to Fedex and UPS and make you the middle man. Glad the price is good too and suspect once people get wind JJN will make up in volume. ... show more

  • Good and working, but those dots on the cells bother me. Good and working, but those dots on the cells bother me.
Set name: N-Type 200W 1pcs
While they work properly and as advertised, it bothers me that several cells have this one dot of damaged micro cells, the panels are not perfect, not they way other panels are but since the output power is good then I guess everything is as intended, still I get this feeling that all the cells should be perfect but they are not. you can see the dot on the cells on the pictures I included on this review. ... show more

  • JJN Panels producing 380+ Watts!
These bifacial panels are very impressive, I have been getting 380+ watts per panel (90% of rated wattage) mounted on my mobile mount. With the mount I can perfectly align the panels with the sun throughout the day maximizing the energy output. Even on very cloudy days these panels can provide 100+ watts, amazing. Compared to portable panels I own these at 1000% better for solar output. Being bifacial panels allows them to harvest even more power by collecting solar radiation that bounces off the ground on the backside. This is a great investment to easily power your solar generator. I have 2 sets of panels in parallel which generator 1200 - 1500 Watts of energy and they can produce anywhere from 6000 - 10000 Watt Hours of energy per day which covers most of my baseline power use for the house per day. ... show more

  • High Quality Premium Solar Panel with Best deals and functionality High Quality Premium Solar Panel with Best deals and functionality
Set name: N-Type 200W 2pcs
200W x 4pcs in 2s2p is more efficient than 400W x 2pcs in parallel. By >10% 200W Voc = 28.1V 400W Voc = 37V These panels are really nice. The box say “High Quality Premium Solar Panel” and they do look like it. I first purchase the 400W panels from JJN and found that size and weight in physical application too much to carry up to the roof or even to move around. Now I’m set on the 200W. Because of half the weight, more manageable to move around, AND better Voc! The 400W Voc is 37.0V, while the 200W is 28.1V. Which I can connect 2 panels in series to stay within 60V of my 2048Wh portable power station. I now have 2x 400W connected in parallel and 4x 200W in 2s2p all from JJN (Best deals and functionality). The 200W’s give better wattage. Currently, it’s July and above 80F. No point in trying to see if it meet 100% rated power but they have been peaking 85%-87%. Much better than my previous panels that peak ~70%. Works well. I do get some energy while the panels are shaded, like 50W from each of the two 800W set ups. Well worth the value, customer service is pleasant to work with, delivers on time and fast, packaging is secured and protected. The positive and negative markings can be more easy to read but the plugs made it hard to connect it wrong. Easy to install. JJN, I’m looking for bulk deals on 24pcs of 200W panels! Make more of these please! ... show more

  • It just performs. It just performs.
Set name: N-Type 425W 1pcs
I’ve been really impressed with this 400W solar panel. Right out of the box, performance exceeded expectations. I set it up outside without even dialing in the angle, and it was already producing 421 watts in good conditions — which is above its rated output. What really stood out was how it handled less-than-ideal weather. Even with overcast skies, it was still consistently putting out power in the 320W range, which is excellent real-world performance. Build quality feels solid, setup was straightforward, and the output has been reliable. If you’re pairing this with a power station or using it for off-grid charging, this panel delivers. Overall, very happy with it and would definitely recommend. Update after tuning and building a mount for the panel it hit 500w I took a screen shot after at 497w but super impressed. ... show more

  • Great panels
Great panels. Very sturdy and well put together. Connect very easily and charge consistently. They are heavy so keep that in mind when looking at placement. I put two on a small shed and adding two more onto fencing that I have.
