Works well. Easy to read. Easy to set. I does "lose memory" when you turn it off, but perhaps that's to be expected. My camera (Canon 7D MkII) has a built in intervalometer, but this one does something the internal can't. It lets me shoot three shot Auto Exposure Braketing HDR shots. Set the Bulb to 5 seconds and Intreval to 8 seconds, and that 5 "holds down" long enough to fire the entire 3 shot burst. Then it pauses for whatever the remaining time is (up to 8 seconds) for the next set. The Internal camera version, just takes ONE SHOT every Intreval seconds. So it "separates" the AEB triplet. With the JJC device, I can do the three shots as a continuous burst. (I set the N to -- for infinite and turn off the beeper as well.)

I actually purchased this (a different model) before I realized it. So, what being said, I'm glad I didn't know. This Intervalometer WORKS GREAT!! Right out of the box, and connected to my new Sony A7RIIIa. Maybe they fixed the issues since then.. ______________ The review below is for a different model I had purchased about two years ago. That was JJC TC-80N3 Intervalometer Timer Remote Shutter Release. *Complete garbage Incorrect results on all units purchased. And I had purchased (3). I came across this remote just the prior day. I liked that it had an on-off switch and I was needing to get a new intervalometer. I had such high hopes for this. I also liked that it took AAA batteries instead of a coin battery. But here is where things went south. I set the self timer for 3 seconds. Set the bulb for 8 seconds. I set the intervalometer for 14 seconds, and the number of photos for 3. My results: •3 second self timer countdown. •8 seconds on the camera, but ... •6 Seconds on the Intervalometer?? Where did the six seconds come from? Sending back. I'll try another. I guess this one just missed the quality assurance portion during manufacturing. __________ I have now purchased a total of three of these meters, every single one is defective. On the intervalometer timer, if I put in for 30 seconds on one, I get 22 seconds as a result. On another I put in 30 seconds. I get 25 seconds as a result. The first one I returned was off by at least 16 seconds. I am returning all for a refund.

I originally received the same item with a defect. The on/off switch was not working properly but a quick response from vendor that sent the replacement in no time. I was glad that was replaced faster than expected. The product fits well my camera and works well as described.

Canon 70D is within the range of Canon models listed as compatible with this product, but it is not compatible. Update: I received an email from the seller offering a refund, but it didn't work. The email says "We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience regarding your order and would like to offer you a full refund for your purchase. If you would like a full refund: please reply 'Full refund'." I replied "Full refund" and then got this email: "You've written to an address that does not accept incoming e-mails, but we have provided links to help answer some common questions." I tried to find my review and reply there, but there is no link in the email to my review and no other mechanism I can find to reply. I'm able to edit my review, so I'm doing that, but my review itself is buried in all of the reviews of this product, which are not searchable for your own review. So, if you're reading this, you were luckier to find it than me.

Somewhere in the Q&A seller mentions that for Canon 5d mark iii to select the "Canon C1 option". It is nowhere to be found on the dropdown list of options, so I looked at the specs of the different options and chose the one that says "compatible with canon 5d mark iii". Received item, nothing wrong, just not the write connection port for my camera so can't tell how well it works. With battery, I can set the remote control as advertised, just not connectable to my camera.
