I love this eye piece helps block unwanted light. Can be used on left or right eye by rotating eye piece without removing it. Rotates 360 degree for horizontal or vertical viewing. The only glitch is when you try to open the live view screen to flip it the eye piece is blocking it. Slide the eye piece up, rotate the screen, slide eye piece back into position. Recommended to all buy it. BUY IT!!!

This eye piece does exactly what I needed. It helps prevent sunlight from coming in from the right side of my head. My wife uses her opposite eye than I do but when she uses my camera it's a very easy rotation. No need to remove the eye piece, you simply tug it over to the other side. Highly recommend.

This eyecup works great to block out external light when looking through your viewfinder. On the A7RV, however, you cannot open the screen on the back of the camera without a bit of effort. The eye cup is flexible but there is a hard part that keeps you from moving the eye cup completely out of the way. A workaround is to pull the screen forward and down and then out. It's a clumsy workaround for an otherwise great product.

I think this is a good product. It feels solid. I couldn't find any info on if this would fit the A7Sii model so I took a chance. If you're buying this for the new models, then it should fit without a problem. The rubber eyecup does have a good feel.
