Please read this if you care about two things: Is it actually 10 fit, and does it fit with Index base station? Short answer: Yes Long anger: Yes, but you have to use the provided extended that comes with your item. The adapter's cable alone is 5ft, but the extender cable not only provides an additional 5ft, but also uses the L-shape/90degree angle tip so it'll work great even if the base stations are drilled to the wall. I don't think the seller did a good job explaining or making it obvious. The product is great and it will work, so if you were concerned if it's really 10 ft and will it actually work, the answer is 100% yes. ... show more

Exact same as the other 12V adapter I looked at, but this one came with an unexpected extension cord to make up for the short base lentgh.

They include two cable adapters with the power unit. One for the link box and one for the base station. I tried both of them and they work well. Will be ordering more in the future as backups.

    • Doesn't fit and it might've fried my Link Box
Got a used 2PU6100 (Orange outline on VIVE-facing inputs) Link Box, and since it didn't come with an adapter I tried this product. It worked once then wouldn't work again. The plug goes in but you can tell it's a bit too long. Tried troubleshooting in many various ways and the Link box just wasn't working. So I ordered an official adapter from an non-Amazon site iFixit because I couldn't find the official one on Amazon and I can tell it fits better but my Link Box was still dead. ... show more
