    • Good product! Keeps baby warm without restricting baby movement
We have used both sizes of this product- the first was a hand-me-down, which we used a lot through a winter in Eastern Europe and during winter visits to the northern US. So it's durable, as it's been used on at least three kids now. The bigger one we just purchased seems the same. The velcro parts can weaken with age, but that's to be expected and you need some way to keep it in place. It's thick and nice and can take a few rain drops without letting baby get cold. No hood to fight with but there is soft material behind the head and it works when/if hoods and hats aren't being tolerated by baby. The one thing that I find awkward- there are straps around the outside to externally affix it to the stroller/car seat, which I find confusing, as it doesn't seem to work with any of our equipment and just kind of sits there, so I need to make sure those are tucked away so we don't have random stretchy straps hanging about. We like this product after using both sizes. It's good because it's versatile and doesn't hold the baby too tightly anywhere. ... show more

We live up near Seattle and our Fall/Winters can be pretty cold so I was very happy to come across this listing. Our older son has soccer practices and games outside in the cold and will continue to have them for a few more months so we knew we had to get something to protect our one month old from the cold chill. We also get a lot of wind which makes it feel even colder. This works wonders! I don't have to drag along blankets or have him in bulky coats. It was super easy to install and we just love that we don't have to worry about our little one while enjoying the soccer fun with our other little man. Only warning is to keep checking on baby often as they can get too warm and sweaty. A thin bodysuit/onsie is just fine paired with a hat and socks. Do not overdress baby in this! It does unzip easily on one side so you can allow cool air in quickly is needed. Our baby also had a diaper leak while in this cozy warmer. So we had to run it through the wash and it was very easy to remove and throw in the washer and install again. So far we have only used it in the carseat, but we look forward to using in the stroller when he is a little older. ... show more

My husband is a Swedish bear-man type and loves cold snowy weather (he hikes in shorts and a tshirt in freezing/sub zero temps lol). Our daughter is a winter baby and is about to turn a year old and he insisted we get outside more (despite the snow and freezing temps) for more walks. Before our first walk out in freezing temps I dressed her in a long sleeve onesie, long pants, warm wool socks and fleece slippers, and a down jacket with hat and ear muffs. We then put her in our stroller with the stroller sack installed and went for a nice 2+ hour walk around the lake where we live. It was around 20 degrees. We kept checking her temp and she was completely warm and cozy! She stayed warm the entire walk and she loved it. I doubled checked her feet and overall temp when we got home and she was still warm. The only cold part of her body being her face (understandably). We are very happy with this purchase! We look forward to using it more :) ... show more
