The whole soft dog house part is great, but the bottom is very flimsy, so if your dog is a digger he may tear it or roll it. I removed the pillow it came with added a square bed I had and now it has the right support and still light, it's perfect now. I expected a little more support like a hard board base and a better quality pillow for the money paid, but for my purposes it was so far worth it. ... show more

I work, so I can't keep my dog indoors and I don't want her outside without having shelter. This was a good way of keeping my dog in the garage, where she can go inside the cave when she gets cold or wants to take a snooze. I haven't been able to see if she actually goes inside it as I don't have cameras in the garage. But I feel better having it for her as the garage is cold now that it's winter. It's very cute, I love the pad that came with it-very thick and warm. I applied vaseline on areas where the zipper was stiff and it helped it glide smoothly without catching onto the fabric. ... show more

My Frenchie jumped ON it squished it totally flat and attempted to eat it!! So hopefully your dog would act right and go INTO it instead.. otherwise I'm sure I would've loved it

Purchased this to replace a plush dog house our cavapoo puppy had worn out playing on it as much as in it. She and our shih tzu had a hard time jumping on the top of this one, initially they bounced off which was actually quite amusing. So NOT sure if I have to wait for the structure to inflate by itself fully or if this is truly a faulty manufacturing issue. Some reviews with pictures show that the dome is fully shaped and sturdy (seems like if you bought a smaller sized version), but then for the larger size version, the roof doesn't take its full shape and if my dog leans to one side the whole house tilts. My dog isn't used to it and doesn't seem to be a fan, but I don't think I'll return it because I want her to go into this and not under my bed when she wants to bury herself somewhere dark. So I'm hoping this is a good enough investment. (FYI: my dog is a Shiba Inu and weighs 35lbs. I bought the Size XL. The measurements for the item are correct. The picture doesn't show it but it's pretty decent sized for a medium-sized dog like mine. If you have a denser dog, this will not hold up, unless your dog is comfy and doesn't seem to care if the house droops. ... show more
