The first thing I noticed about these is that they don't necessarily release from your finger like you would expect them to, instead they slam into it then flop onto the ground. The second thing I noticed is that once you get the hang of how to launch these (by lowering the hand of the finger they are hooked on to while releasing them with your other hand, so that they fly over your finger instead of slamming into your finger), they fly pretty well. The third thing I noticed was that if you launch one of these at someone and they don't know this technique, they will not be able to effectively launch it back at you, and they will look like a fool slamming it into their finger. Double whammy! But the real fun started after the novelty wore off and I had a dozen rubber chickens to find a purpose in life for. In my area, Jeep owners love ducking each other, and love bragging about how often they get ducked. They proudly display these ducks on their dashboards, and some carry a sack of ducks to leave on the windshields of other Jeeps so they can get ducked too. This gave me a fowl idea, so I started leaving these chickens on the windshields of Jeeps that were heavily duckorated. Their reactions have been priceless, egos completely shattered, and left with an existential crisis to contend with. Why a chicken? What does this mean? Is my Jeep not pretty enough to earn a good duck? Are we living in the Matrix? All valid questions. I am enjoying my new pastime as a spiritual guide. ... show more
