I purchased this rug for my kitchen sink and cooktop area. I wanted something to soak up water from sink usage and crumbs from cooking. It’s exactly what I wanted, except it’s thinner than I expected. It’s not a deal breaker for me but I may try adding a non-fatigue mat just at the sink and the cooktop. The rug has grip on the bottom, it’s hard to see but it’s a pattern like the hatching on the back of the rug. Appears very easy to spot clean, vacuum off or maybe even machine wash. Does not shift when walked on by humans or animals. Fabric is soft and comfortable on bare feet. Overall I really like it but if your wanting something with cushion, this is not it. ... show more

Thin, easy to wash in front end washing machine but did have to return after one wash as stitching started to unravel. Company sent replacement right away. Good customer service experience.
