Never sewed with a machine, but wanted to adjust a few shorts without having to pay a tailor and looking it up the alterations I wanted to do looked fairly easy on a machine, I unboxed this and honestly my first thought was it reminded me of an easy bake oven, looked and felt like a toy, but after using it, it works, altered some test shirts, easy, couple of failed stitches but those were on me not the machine, it’s easy to load, comes with a bunch of different colored threading, needles, double stitch needles, needle threader (The is no way I could thread the needle without this) stitch ripper (had to look up what it does, but definitely useful) everything I could use as a beginner(foot pedal), easy to set up, the power cord is really short, I had to get out an extension cord to get it to table height, fyi. I need much more practice to get good seams, and most of my beginners mistakes were because of wrong tension) I took off a star because the knob to change stitches had the label on wrong so I ended up using a different stitch a few times before I caught it, I peeled the sticker off and put it in the right position. I’d recommend it, it’s light, comes with a lot of useful accessories, low cost, and is perfect as a starter/learning machine for someone like me to practice and use for the alterations on t shirts like i’m using it for, for tougher sewing needs, no idea, if I can pick it up after some practice, probably move up to a known higher end machine, but at the level (beginner) I’m at this was a great choice.

Not worth the price for sure!!!! We ordered this sewing machine, it worked about 13 seconds, very cheaply made, ours didn’t even have some of the “features” described in the description of the product. Would not recommend this machine even for a child learning to sew.

I am extremely happy with this purchase! It has been a total success for my school projects. What I love most is that it is small and very easy to transport. I’ve taken it to school several times to finish assignments there, and it’s super convenient to carry and store since it takes up almost no space. In terms of performance, I was surprised by how easy it is to thread and operate. I haven't had any technical issues, and it has worked perfectly so far. The 42-piece accessory kit is a huge plus—it makes you feel comfortable working right from the start because it includes everything you need. One thing to keep in mind is that it only comes with two needles, so I’d recommend buying an extra pack (like I did) to have spares and to handle different types of fabrics. I've even lent it to my friends at school, and it worked great for everyone! I've received nothing but good comments about it. I found a small box to keep all the extra accessories organized, which helps keep my workspace tidy. Without a doubt, this is a great buy for both home and school use. I'll be uploading some videos soon to show it in action!

I have been a quilter for +20 years and have multiple sewing machines that cost 10X what this one does, so my expectations may be high. That said, I think this would probably be a good machine for a child to start sewing on. It does do basic stitches - straight, zig zag, overlock. The buttonhole foot worked OK. I also tried a buttonhole with the regular foot and it didn't work as well. I found it hard to get the thread long enough after sewing that it didn't unthread the next time I started. It is a plus that you can have shorter and longer stitches. The instruction manual does give you a lot of information - especially for a new sewist. I didn't compare the price to other beginner sewing machines but I certainly wouldn't pay any more for it than what it is currently listed at ($75.78). It will be a good machine to keep around for when my granddaughter (9) comes and wants to sew.
