  • Try it your amps effects loop
Style: Haunting Mids Pattern Name: Pedal
I put it in the effects loop of my Orange 35RT and turned down its midrange. I'm able to mid scoop the upper end of the low frequency, and it's absolutely sublime. I tried a 12 band eq and couldn't quite get it, this pedal makes it easy.

  • Best pedal on the planet!!!
This is the best dirt/high gain pedal ON THE PLANET! I am a HUGE fan of Andy Timmons and live in the near vicinity. Listening to his tone never gets old and is the Holy Grail of tones in my humble opinion. After watching lots of videos and other feedback, I had to have it. I ordered this from Chicago Music Exchange and I had the pedal in my hands in 2 days. What I didn't expect from CME was they added some nice stickers and a couple of picks for a finishing touch. This pedal has the best articulation I have ever heard from a gain pedal of any kind and has 3 modes (25 watt, 50 watt and 100 watt). It didn't take me long to dial in a tone that I like which has great singing sustain without getting in the way or muddy. I have this in front of a Peavey Classic 30 into a 2 x 12 sealed cabinet with Eminence Speakers and I have INCREDIBLE tone. Don't walk, but run and get one of these pedals. You will not be disappointed or have buyers remorse. This has a permanent spot on my pedal board until it dies. ... show more

  • What I’ve been looking for.
Style: Double Barrel Pattern Name: Pedal
I’ve been looking for a ‘main’ overdrive sound. In my head it was a tube screamer with a little bit more. I’ve tried multiple pedals; a mini tube screamer, a jhs Superbolt, a ts with a morning glory in front. I loved that last one but I had to change the sound of my morning glory from how I would normally set it to make it sound like it did in my head. I decided to try this pedal and now my search is over. I am extremely happy with this pedal and I’m so happy with the purchase. ... show more

  • JHS Sweet Tea - Good
Style: Sweet Tea Pattern Name: Pedal
The JHS Sweet Tea gives me all the drive sounds I need aside from fuzz. There's basically a Tube Screamer on one side and a JCM 800 on the other. I use the TS side for slightly crunchy, almost clean tones and the JCM for heavier overdrive sounds and both of them together for a little more saturation. Throw a fuzz in if you wanna get crazy. Pedal is versatile and by mixing and matching you can get all sorts of dirt sounds. Build quality is great as well ... show more

  • Great over driven sound
Style: SuperBolt Pattern Name: Pedal
Has a great 60s tone. Reminds me in certain settings of a Kinks guitar sound.

  • Great mid-range gain
Style: Sweet Tea Pattern Name: Pedal
I use it for gritty rhythm and full-blown distortion. Great sounding pedal.
