The written directions are a little weird but it is pretty easy to assemble and install: The arms are all unscrewed but attached by the wiring to the central globe. To screw it together you take off the bottom screw and cap on the central globe. As you screw them into place, pull back on the wire that runs though by gently pulling on the wire assembly in the globe. Then you turn the set screw into the threads of each arm to ensure it doesn't unscrew. Do it on a towel so you don't scratch the finish as you move through all the arms. The installation was like any standard ceiling fixture. I purchased Sunco LED Edison bulbs and a lutron dimmer from an approved list for the bulbs. I am using this in a very dark green office that needed some brighter lighting. It is VERY bright! This would be great for a bigger room at full power. Since the office is small I wanted a lot of bulbs and a preset dimmer so I can have even illumination with looking into the sun 😎. All in all a great product. Easy to install. Stylish.     • Groovy! Assembly requires Patience.
Ordered this ceiling lamp and it arrived quickly. It comes with "arms" unscrewed and you have to screw them back in. Seems simple but was a more difficult than it sounds because the electrical wires that run through the metal tubes is quite thick and rigid so "pushing" the wire (there was about 3/4-1" of wire that needed to go back in) into the ball housing was a challenge. I almost gave up but decided it must work - so with good patience I managed to line up and slowly pressed the arm tube up to the housing to screw in. I got some nice little round (soft white) LED bulbs (40w) from Home Depot (3 boxes were $30 + tax). It lights up the room wonderfully and looks fabulous! Great for small room chic. ... show more
