This is my third JETech case for an iPad. The first two had similar, almost rubberized material, on both the front and back, making them easy to hold without danger of slipping from your grasp. This new one has hard plastic on the backside, which is slippery. I wrote to them to see if they still offer the rubberized back in different models, but have not heard back from them yet. I’ve been buying JETech cases for my iPads for a few years. Just got another one for my new 11-inch 2020 iPad Pro. The case is still lightweight and solidly built, but it has changed from earlier versions. Instead of the case being all-black polyurethane, now only the front cover is made of the material from before. The back cover is now a translucent dark plastic. It still snaps in nicely to the iPad and feels secure, but the back is SLICK! No tackiness whatsoever, so it feels slippery and could be easier to drop. Takes some getting used to. I do NOT want to drop my expensive iPad Pro, so will have to be more careful now since it’s now smooth and slick on one side. Honestly, if I had known about this design change, I might have shopped for a different brand. Still, given the low price, I still rate it four stars. Edit: I have returned this case and replaced it with a basic case (Ratesell) that is designed similar to the earlier versions of JETech case. Dropped rating from four to three stars as slippery plastic back just wasn’t satisfying and I ended up returning it. ... show more

This is the second iPad case I’ve purchased from this company. Two different iPads, two different cases. Both excellent. I note this cost one tenth what I paid for the case I purchased from Apple for the same device. The Apple one cost me $80 plus tax. It lasted four months. I’ve not had this one long enough to rate its durability. But if it lasts for more than 12 days I will at least be even. I expect it to do a good bit better than that. Decent product at this price point. Light, and perfect for tilting and standing for video watching/browsing so I use it with an older 11 inch 2018 iPad. The issue with this price point however, is that the flap is not magnetic or given any friction by the back side of the case when folded over due to that side being plastic so it slides around slightly. This is understandable at this price. Magnetic cases are around $8-10 more but would better suit my newer 2021 iPad that I’ll be using more professionally/writing/drawing on in completely flat position often. I had a JETech case for my old iPad Pro and I just got a new iPad Pro. I ordered another JETech for the new iPad and it fits perfectly, is really nice to hold, not slippery and works perfectly. If that isn’t enough, it costs a fraction of the Apple case.

This case fits the iPad well, the ability to wake up the iPad by opening the case works flawlessly, and the price is right. My only disappointment with this case over other JTech cases I've purchased in the past is that the translucent material used for the back of the case scratches very easily. It's also a little slick to hold on to. After just a few weeks, there are multiple obvious scratches. While this shows that the case is doing its job, I would like to see JTech go back to the previous case material that was less slippery and showed less obvious scratches. ... show more
