  • Sturdy CD Slot Tablet Mount: The screw-locked base ensures a secure hold, even on bumpy roads. Mounting in the CD slot frees up the windshield and keeps your view unobstructed - no more dealing with melting suction cups
  • Wide Compatibility & 2-in-1 Design: Fits 4.711" tablets and all smartphones (including iPad Mini, iPad Air 9.7" 10.5" 10.9", iPad Pro 9.7" 10.5" 11", Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, Google Pixel, iPhone), with a built-in charging hole for convenience on the go
  • Compatibility Notice: Ensure your car is equipped with a CD player. This tablet car mount is not suitable for vehicles with a curved, hidden, or low-positioned CD slot near the gear shifter
  • Note: Similar to most CD slot tablet mounts, placing a tablet in the CD slot may obstruct parts of your dashboard, such as the radio screen, buttons, or AC vents. A larger tablet will block even more of these components

  • Nissan Titan w/o CarPlay
Style: 1st Generation
Works great in my Nissan Titan work truck. It has the Rockford fisheye system, with nav., etc., which means no CarPlay or Android functions. This allowed me to use an old iPad mini 4 we had laying around, as my audio/video player. This thing is super sturdy and hasn’t budged an inch! Only down side to first version is the way that you have to mount and dismount it. Sucks if you’re going to remove your device daily. ... show more

  • I LOVED IT - BUT IT DIDN'T LOVE ME BACK
Style: 1st Generation
Even though I had to return the mount, I wanted to share my experience. I was excited to get started with this when I got it. The box was way smaller than I imagined it would be. The instructions were simple and I had the mount together in about 90 seconds. I attached it to the CD player and tightened it, then I attached my iPad. Next I opened my Waze map, and I started driving, everything seemed fine, as soon as I went into my first turn my iPad was face down on the shifter. The problem is that it's just too heavy. It held my phone perfectly and other smaller items like my kindle, but the large iPad was just too much for this small mount. Pros: Well made, easy to assemble, product works as described Cons: It blocked the volume for my stereo, I had to move the shifter to attach the iPad, the angle to reach the little knob/nut to tighten the mount into the CD player was awkward. I wouldn't mind the quirks/cons of the product if it worked for me, but unfortunately I had to return it. I didn't think it would be fair to give it a bad review just because it didn't suit my needs. Regular iPad NO, iPad Air YES, cell phone YES (but I don't need it for that). Good luck! I hope it works for you :-) ... show more

  • Decent holder but not without flaws
Style: 1st Generation
I have just recently upgraded my phone to the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold5 and my little Pop Socket vent clip holder wasn’t going to hold up under the weight of this phone. There is a lot of phone holders that would work for my new phone but the price is twice that of this holder, which is something I didn’t want to commit to. Plus reading reviews made it seem like it wouldn’t be worth it. THIS holder was in the price range I’m okay with AND the almost 2k reviews are mostly positive. PLUS it’s a CD player insert, something I don’t use and actually had to search for to even find it (lol) and it would be out of the way of my AC vents and my backup camera/radio screen that I need. Win-win. It was easy to assemble the pieces together and easy to slip into the CD player BUT…the screw in the back that tightens the grip into the CD player was pressing a button on my radio that sits right behind it. This is a radio specific problem, but that is a button that I need to use for Bluetooth and it also allows me to hang up on blue tooth calls, which happened. I was on a call and it kept ending because of the screw. Thankfully my husband solved this problem by flipping the entire holder upside down so that the screw is now facing my AC buttons, but not pressing them, and those buttons are something that aren’t typically messed with. I suggest the design of the screw change to something that doesn’t protrude out and get in the way of the radio. I did notice that the instructions did inform that the holder can be flipped if the screw is in the way but I don’t think that should be the only solution. The screw should have a design change. Another complaint I have is something I’ve seen another reviewer mention and that is the side buttons that open and close the arms that grip the phone. They are a pain to press in general, never mind when the phone is on the holder and you have to reach your fingers behind the phone to squeeze these things. The more expensive holders have the automatic mechanical arms that open and close when it senses the phone etc. this holder doesn’t need to be so fancy, but it should be more user friendly to get the phone in and out of the holder without hurting your fingers. The top arm does lift up to make it a bit easier, but those buttons are something that still need to be used. So now that I got the negative out of the way, the positives are there too, don’t worry, lol. When the holder is screwed in the CD player it is solid and secure and there is no swaying or risk of falling out. It jiggles when going over bumps, but it’s suspended in the air so it’s to be expected. I like that the arms move to all sorts of angles to make it easier position the screen to what’s comfortable for you. The arms themselves have a good grip on the phone so I feel confident it won’t fall out. I can hold my phone in the closed and full screen position. I like to watch C dramas while sitting in the parent pick up line at my kid’s school and I can go hands free while reclining for an hour, so that’s a nice luxury. My husband likes it so much that I ordered one for his car and I know that will get a lot of use since he plays music while on his hour drive to work. Overall, it has its flaws that should be reworked to make it easier to use, but the concept is great and the holder itself is solid and has a strong grip on the CD player and the phone itself. It isn’t wide enough to hold my 11 inch iPad, I didn’t think it would be, but it works great for my Galaxy Fold in both positions. For $20, it’s worth the money. ... show more

  • Excellent bracket - use with a tablet and you can save your car stereo!
Style: 1st Generation
This literally saved my car stereo. I have a 2015 Nissan Juke Nismo RS, and it came with a "premium" Rockford Fosgate stereo system. The sound is good enough, but the navigation is unusable. Further, the Nissan Connect app is no longer supported and I can't get the already limited number of apps to connect to the stereo from my phone. Due to the camera system, steering wheel controls, and bizarre amp and speaker ohms, putting in a $400 after market stereo would cost almost $1500 - and no guarantee that everything would work. After a little research, I decided to get this bracket and a Fire HD 8 tablet (due to price point and Dolby sound). Now I can have a nice sized maps display, all the apps I want, connect through either Bluetooth or the aux jack (if I want to keep my phone hooked up), and still retain all the functionality of the OEM system. Total cost - $75. This thing is super sturdy; the part that goes in to the CD slot is metallic feeling, and the little silicon pads still retain the ridges on the bracket for a secure fit. The part of the bracket that holds the tablet has a rubberized feel and a premium look. While I'm using it with a tablet, it would make a great cell phone mount too - and your phone won't be covering a vent. Highly recommended! ... show more

  • Best phone car mount ive used so far!!
Style: 1st Generation
I recently got a new phone and needed a car mount that could hold it up without falling off, breaking, or the mount coming undone from my desired spot. My phone is pretty heavy and has a hefty case to protect it. The old car mounts ive used that have the sticky/suction for the top dash of your car would always came undone for one reason or another.. The car mounts that have the suction cup for your window always come undone too. I needed a solution bad taking i drive a lot. Well, i decided to try this taking its CD mount model. Im so glad i tried this out!! My phone hasnt fallen off once, the mount hasnt come undone either and its been a couple of weeks of use. Im so happy with my purchase, thank you!! ... show more

  • Great purchase, works great!
Style: 2nd Generation
I purchased this to hold my Galaxy Fold7. It worked wonderfully, even with my slim case on the phone. The setup and installation was easy and it securely fit into the CD player. The two pictures show it positioned in the CD Player, and of the Phone-holder.
