I only paid $16 for the Jensen cassette player with free shipping. If you pair it with a good pair of headphones, the sound is very good. It does not have a rewind button which is a major fault. It costs far less than a Sony walkman and is a better value dollar for dollar.

My brother and I each gave my mom these for Mother's Day; mine this one, his a different brand that is four letters and starts with an S. Sadly, waiting til Mother's Day that put me a week outside of the return period so I'm stuck with this. His sound is SO much better than this one using the same speakers. This Jensen is chunky so I thought my older mother could handle it better but the buttons are so small and the button labels aren't painted only shaped plastic that matches the unit so you have to turn it to an angle and catch a reflection of the light to read the button purposes. The radio screen is tiny also. The other brand has paint on the raised button labels, larger buttons and a larger radio screen even though it's on a smaller sleeker unit. I regret buying this and would not again. I wish I could send it back. ... show more

Headphone Jack doesn’t work, loose or something the headphones only play out of one ear. The line out works with headphones but you can’t control the volume. Ok, but would be nice if it was better quality.
