Love it so far.I purchased an Atoto head unit and it was sweet and all, but it was a little unsafe. Everything was tough screen so you have to look at the screen. And that's not good on the road. So I got this Jensen j5ca14 and I'm loving it. I am able to control the volume with out taking my eyes off the road. And it's has a modern look and a classic look as well. And it matches the interior in my truck. The install was a little tricky because the mounting hardware was slightly bigger than the radio mount.But I made it work without any big problems. Most of all this is a very nice unit, if your looking for a big screen with a Clean Classy look this is it. Very user-friendly and quality sounds that you can't beat for the price. ... show more

No mp4 playing but size was nice

It was a nice radio but for 03 silverado it just didnt fit hit the shifter handle on column...and minus one star reverse was not clear and only plays mp3 not mp4

System freezes and reboots frequently, but Screen and Navigation are great when working.

This unit freezes and reboots at least once during my commute. Sometimes it has loud thud when it freezes (I have a subwoofer connected). Replaced the factory head unit in a 2021 Nissan Titan with this unit. The factory unit would randomly reboot, causing phone calls to hang-up. With the factory unit, I primarily listened to audiobooks on USB with a 256GB UBS Drive. The Jensen unit does not recognize my USBs, I tried 128 GB and 256GB formatted in exFAT, did not work. Previously they were formatted as NTFS. Total cost with installation was about $1,300 (including a 10 subwoofer). All of the wiring harnesses from Maestro, etc. to use steer wheel controls cost about $300-400. Labor was $200. Research suggests the limits is 32GB or 64GB may work, so I am ordering a 64GB drive (really feels like downgrading). The screen is great! The system uses Android Auto, which allows Google Navigation. The backup camera formerly had backup lines that would bend based on the steering wheel. The Jensen has backup lines, but they do not bend as you turn the steering wheel. Front camera is not recognized. The Maestro was not compatible with the factory microphone for the Titan, so I have an aftermarket microphone mounted. Tire pressure does not read. The system seems to freeze and reboot often - usually at least once per commute. AI suggests the problem may be Jensen's operating system. At present, there are no firmware updates. ... show more

Almost, but not quite

Great visual but it's been less then a month and the screen starting to freak out. It starting to flash black and white randomly and is annoying. The Bluetooth doesn't always connect and CarPlay is weird most of the time
