Worked great with no problems. Only thing I don’t like is that the volume is very touchy 1 notch is a lot. I wish the apple play was blue tooth. It does work well but you have to have the usb cable plugged in. All in all great unit.

Great replacement for my 3 year old Dual stereo that was on the fritz (volume/mute button didn't work, had to use the touchscreen); My work truck gets dusty and maybe that was the cause of malfunction. Time will tell if this lives more than 3 years. Wish the Carplay and Android Auto worked wireless, but you have to install a USB cable-to-phone to use them.... haven't tried that yet... All other features work great. AM/FM sound great. Bluetooth is good. Has an external microphone that makes talking clear and easy. People said I'm clear and easy to understand when traveling at highway speeds. I separately installed a backup camera and the picture is great. Note: No need to install the "parking brake" circuit on my Ford F150, 2011, XLT-4WD. ... show more

It is a no frills unit which is fine for me. No custom skins or ability to change display colors. But the basic features are there for apple car play and phone Bluetooth which is all I need. However two weeks into it the sound started to cut out for stretches of times and all of a sudden come back. As I looked back at the reviews it appears that this is happening to other buyers. Now dealing with Jensen (over 30 days purchase) to try and get the unit replaced and since it is happening to others hoping to replace to a different model. Will still cost me to have it pulled out and replaced. ... show more

This is the day 3 review, I’ll come back in a month or so to do an update. This was a super easy install. This unit worked with my existing brackets in my 07 Xterra. All I needed to do was shave off the top part of the extra faceplate. And it covered up the hole on the bottom nicely. Unit functions just fine, everything is snappy, especially in CarPlay mode. Idk about other systems, but when you first set it up, don’t be alarmed if the Bluetooth disconnects when you plug in CarPlay, that’s on purpose. But when I disconnect the wire, it switches to Bluetooth quickly. This is NOT* the wireless unit. I’m ok with that because I’d rather my phone be charging too. Don’t forget to plug in the antenna. I think the unit uses it as part of the grounding, because the unit would shut off if I unplugged it. (I didn’t care about radio, but I guess I do now). The CarPlay/Aauto plug is a simple USB A female, so bring your own cord and find a spot to plug it in. I knocked out one of my empty slots, not pretty but functional. The only time I’ve seen the device slow down is when you scroll left to get to settings. But no other issues. Only other issue I had was that it arrived in original packaging, making it an easy target, glad I was home. ... show more

Tengo un lhs del 99, lo instale y me ah dejado sin palabras, soy un fuel amante de la vieja escuela en tema del audiocar eh tenido estereos con excelente diseño, excelente recepción Bluetooth, excelentes funciones y algo muy importante con un buen ecualizador con buenos cortes de frecuencia y ahora con este estereo puedo decir que me ah sorprendido tanto en el diseño, como en los arneses, el Android auto es una actualización muy muy buena, el panel touche no es como otros dónde se nota cuando tocas aquí completamente es sensible al tacto y responde muy bien, sin duda lo recomiendo ! Para el precio la verdad le gana por mucho a las marcas chinas y genéricas del mercado porque después de esto tengo en otro consepto a Jensen! ... show more
