The stereo works great. Can use Bluetooth connection for calls and music. Need a USB connection for the GPS navigation. I often listen to podcasts, audio books, etc. while driving and the Bluetooth audio is excellent. The installation was easy and took about an hour. Running the microphone wire was pretty easy to hide under trim. I connected the camera using the reverse light and received a “check engine” light with a code the Electrical Monitoring System had an error. It cleared up once I disconnected the camera. Tried the alternate way of connecting the camera and had the same issue. Decided to keep the stereo and return the camera and I received a refund for the camera.

Bought this for the Apple CarPlay and rear camera. Installed in my 2004 Toyota Tacoma. Absolutely spot on fit. Had questions two times while installing. Called Jensen service. They called back in a matter of minutes. Normal people I could understand perfectly. I’m a believer in Jensen for life. Radio is first rate. Highly recommended. Thank you Jensen!

Installed in a 2006 Scion XB and works well. I didn’t buy the steering wheel converter so it is a hassle not having the ability to control the volume and channels on the steering wheel. I wish it had a remote to mount on the steering wheel for this reason but for the price it was very good.

I tried a couple of the cheap, Chinese head units in my Honda Pilot and although they were very cheap, they disappointed in every way. I decided to stop trying to pinch every penny and buy this Jensen J1CA7 stereo. You just can't go wrong with Jensen, Pioneer and Sony head units. The build quality is excellent, the sound is excellent, the wire harness wires are think as you would expect as opposed to the thin, cheap wires on the Chinese head units. The touchscreen is responsive and crisp, the physical buttons are very helpful for navigation and the sound is incredible for a simple head unit.

This unit was easy to install and everything worked as expected. My only wish would be to have Android and Apple car play be able to connect via Bluetooth
