I purchased this drip pan to use with the JEGS 2000 lb Engine Stand (Model # 555-80042) without knowing for sure if it would fit. It does, but with a small modification. Cut a piece of angle iron to fit across the outer ends of the legs. I drilled one 1/4 inch hole at each end and secured the angle iron with 1/4 inch bolts and wingnuts for easy removal. The drip pan itself is extremely rugged, made of thick plastic, and shipped promptly from JEGS in a sturdy box. You could use it for downhill sledding! Seems to fit the Harbor Freight stand perfect! I have a 2.4L KA24DE on the stand right now fully dressed. I can start undressing this long block and scrubbing the grim off with less floor mess. I’m glad I didn’t buy the cheaper engine stand oil pan, this one feels durable and has a larger area. I didn’t realize this was JEGs until I got the package! I’d trust JEGs any day! Great addition to your engine building arsenal. Only problem was that it doesn't fit my Eastwood EZ turn engine stand because it's foldable. I don't know what I was think but I don't regret my purchase. Package came in one piece, fast ship, solid tray, and easily fits on non- folding stands.

    • Good pan, not fun to clean
This is a good pan to have on your engine stand. It is not easy to keep clean however it does catch quite a bit of the falling liquids and debris. I have used this on two engines so far and have found that cleaning it is a bit of a task. I do feel after using it with two engines so far that it is indeed worth the money to purchase it. ... show more

Not a lot to say about this other than it does its job perfectly. The item arrived with a few small blemishes from shipping, but none affected the product performance. I was pleasantly surprised at how stable the pan is on the stand itself. I could easily set tools or parts in it while working without it tipping over or becoming unstable. ... show more
