    • Wife ordered - no one sits in it
Wife ordered the chair because she said we needed more furniture. No one has ever sat in the chair because we already have plenty of seating. Looks nice and definitely fills the empty space near the wall that offers limited viewing of the television. Was fairly simple to put together.

    • You Definitely Get What You Pay For
This is pretty cheaply made product. Real fake leather of some spongy material that made me itch. Instructions are atrocious. Luckily most of the assembly is common sense so most can figure it out. Now those who said this chair isn't for tall people are half right. If you sit in full up position at 6 feet tall my head is not resting. True. But slightly reclined I am able to rest my head. Quality of material is not the best. Yes there are slight issues of holes not aligning up to screw in hardware but mostly because you are trying to connect two pieces both with cushion material on each end. For 1 person to put this together it's a bit awkward to push hard and screw in hardware at same time. Two people could put it together in 10 minutes flat Material is VERY cheap. You get what you paid for. $200+ for a recliner may sound like a lot but compare it to quality furniture which is double the price. Pretty sturdy but kids being rough will destroy it. Overall very cheap and not really worth it. You DO get what you pay for! ... show more

    • Look inside the nut inserts on the arm before trying to put together.
I could not get the arms on the chair, specifically the left arm. I thought it was because the bolt was misaligned with the insert hole. Did not know what was going on until I looked in the nut insert in the arm. It was packed with metal shavings. I had to use a small wire brush to clean the hole out. After it was clean the arm went on with no real problems. Chair looks pretty good otherwise. ... show more

My expectations were pretty low to begin with but I was ok with a less than fine furniture piece for my basement. The chair that arrived was exceedingly below my already low expectations. The wood under the arms of the chair was cracked on both sides and the laminate (cherry colored sticker) was peeling on one side. The swivel portion isn't in the base as most chairs are, it is a plastic ring that will sit on the floor (below the wood base) and it "glides" on 5 plastic blocks that are screwed in to the circular wood base. I say glides a bit tongue in cheek as it is more like swiveling over rocks. I also have no doubt that the thin plastic ring will scratch your floor if you put it on wood and slide it either by sitting in the chair a bit to fast or moving it. The latch system that is used for the recline portion is super sloppy. It's basically a plastic track with teeth that locks in the latch. The distance between the teeth causes it to have about 1" of play when "locked" Finally, the cushion in the lumbar area is abnormally large and feels like you have a soup can wedged in between your lower back and the chair. Overall, I highly recommend against this chair. Even if you are just getting it for a decoration, someone may accidentally sit in it. Since I think it would be easier, more comfortable and safer to sit on a milk crate, mine is going back. ... show more
