I am very pleased with my new speaker! I tested the battery life and finally gave up trying after 14 hours of continuous playing. Obviously, this thing lasts. When it charges, it does so easily and quickly enough. The sound is fantastic for such a small speaker... No scratching, popping, fading or crackling. It connected to a few different sound sources with no issue. I took it on a trip and had happy tunes the whole time! It's lighter than I expected so very easy to carry with the strap. I haven't dunked it underwater yet but assume the best. Great purchase! ... show more

This JBL that I received is practically brand new as you could see from the pictures the box is new and the taped taps you could see that it was not open or reseal everything is basically new from the new smell everything works fine 😉 and sound awesome the best bluetooth speaker out there too purchase and with JBL extreme 3 app for EQL, I bought this for my Harleydavidson softail fxstc custom to strap on the handlebars for some cool sounds and is loud better than other sounds systems that there are selling for harleys anyways I'm happy with my purchase 😄😉😎 definitely recommend seller would definitely buy from again ... show more

This a decent sounding speaker, it's got some bass to it if that is what you prefer. I like the carrying strap. I pair this with my iphone and sometimes it doesn't always pair and it takes me a few minutes to set it up again, I'm not sure what the issue is, it could possibly be I have to many things paired to my phone or too many wireless devices in my home. Once I do get it paired though it works well, the battery will last me all day. I will use this on my boat to save the boat battery from draining with my boat stereo. It seems pretty rugged, the sound is pretty good, the battery life if fantastic.. I like it and I would recommend despite some bluetooth connections issues ... show more

I two thumbs up, whole-heartedly, completely, totally recommend this speaker! The sound quality is better than any other portable speaker I've heard, short of a full boom box sized unit four times its size and weight. It's got great bass, and a full tonal range that just sounds terrific. It purports to have "up to" 15 hours of play time. I charged it completely, and then started playing from my local PBS / college station app and it played for an astounding 15 and a half hours before quitting! And it will play very loudly if I need it to. But wait, there's more! It can be "ganged" with additional similar speakers for more area coverage. I did not do this, but I trust it performs as promised in that regard. I LOVE IT!!! ... show more

I bought refurbished Bluetooth connected fast battery life is great clarity is there gets pretty loud do come with strap to carry around I don't use it this refurbished speaker and packaging looks brand new when arrived also comes with a 90 day warranty I really like this little speaker

This was a renewed JBL extreme 3, but honestly I'd swear it was new. Original box, everything was still wrapped. Would I buy renewed from Amazon again? Absolutely!! Great sound and I am very pleased.
