I was actually a little concerned about fit since I have had little luck with past ear buds and considering the price, reasonably so. I found thought that the fit was the best I had ever had with ear buds! One drawback is the price. They don't come cheap. So was the high price worth it? Well, I found the sound to be better than most of the ear buds I have tried. That was a plus. As for the ambient sound vs noise reduction, there is a HUGE difference compared to the others! I was drving a loud noisy diesel truck and it had no bluetooth. Of course, even if it did, I probably wouldn't be able to hear it over the diesel noise that is so prevalent. The JBL Aeros overcame the noise with no problem. I mentioned fitment. I have trouble getting ear buds to stay in my ear. And since these are waterproof, I was planning on using them at my complex swimming pool so retention was critical. It took me a little effort to figure out how to get them to fit my ear properly. But once I did, they stayed unlike the others. They also have 3 different cups to fit various ear sizes. Those plusses made them worth it to me. The reason I didn't give them 4 stars is the price. They are head and shoulders above the prices of any I have so far looked at. In fact, on average I would dare say double that of most ear buds. For me they were worth it. I've been using JBL over-the-ear headphones for a while now. Most recently, the JBL Endurance Peak I, and before that the JBL Endurance Sprint. In general, they have great sound, and have generally worked pretty well over the years. These are the first ear-bud style wireless headphones I've used (from JBL or elsewhere). At first, I was very impressed. The noise canceling is really pretty impressive, and the sound is amazing. My first clue that something was wrong was when I wore them during lunch, and they started to fall out of my ear as I chewed. I experimented with different fin and earbud sizes. The lack of a manual made this a bit frustrating. The quick start guide shows that you insert the buds and rotate them forward to lock them in place. It doesn't show how the fins are supposed to fit in your ear at all. Anyway, I just tried all the sizes. With all of them, if I look downward and shake my head (gently), after about 10 seconds they fall out. Unsurprisingly, when I took them on a run, they fell out every 100m or so. Fortunately I was usually able to catch them. So, if you are looking for an excuse to take a break on your runs, these headphones for you. Mine are going back to Amazon. ... show more

I initially bought these headphones and the jbl live free 2 tws for myself to see which ones I would like best. As far as the reflect aero goes the sound for me was good. As far as appearance I felt like they look too big and bulky in my ear. Now on the other hand I gave these to my husband and he seems to like them and think that it fits good. My husband also likes to make music so having decent sound quality is a must. He thinks the quality is good, but could be better. My husband worked five hours with these headphones on and said that they fell out twice. The battery life seems to be pretty good. When it comes to calls they are great. No noise in background and the sound quality is clear. I end up choosing the jbl live free 2 tws for myself because of how they fit and looked in my ear with all that being texted, there were no regrets in my decision. ... show more

I bought this based on reviews that said this would be a good product to use while running. But the fit is not good at all. The volume is also limited even in the presence of ambient sound control. It’s too low. The buds keep slipping out of my ears after a few minutes of my run. I’ve changed the plug size - but this has not helped. I’m going back to paying premium price but sticking to Bose earplugs. ... show more

I bought a pair of these because of online recommendations for workout earbuds. But my first pair worked for about a day, and then something happened (i don't know what), but the case got messed up so it started producing a lot of feedback when in ambient aware mode, but the earbuds were in the case. Then the earbuds would not turn on when i opened the case, unless the case was plugged in. I ended up getting a replacement pair, and so far so good. but I called customer support because i couldn't figure out how to remove the old profile from the JBL app. I couldn't find anything online about it. Customer service is clearly offshored. So the rep was hard to understand, and she couldn't understand me well either it seemed as if she had to constantly ask me to repeat the intake questions, which were pretty detailed, like what, when, where did you order from, what is the problem (asked 3 times), give me 3 forms of contact information, at which point, after about 10 minutes of intake, and still asking more demographic questions, all while being able to clearly hear what sounded like a party in the background, I asked her how much more information she'd need before we could get to the stated question, she hung up on me. I've worked customer support before and can understand how stressful the job can be. So I am usually pretty patient. but it was getting pretty bad as with each question she'd ask, she wasn't getting the answer correct, for example, she asked me 5 times what my surname was. is had to repeatedly tell her and spell out a 4-letter last name. Anyway, the customer service was so awful that I'm heavily considering returning the pair that works simply due to the poor customer service interaction, and writing off the brand completely. ... show more

They fall out of ears while jumping rope, running, and sometimes while sitting still. I have tried the different sizes of ear pieces with no improvement.
