  • Had the JBL Quantum Ones and got these
Style: Headphones
As I said I had the Quantum Ones which were the top of the line headphones a few years back. They were wired though and so had their draw backs. I kept accidently pulling away and ripping them off my head, so they got damaged lol. Figured the best way to avoid that issue is to finally get wireless headphones and that was something I was waiting to do for a while. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to sound quality. I am not a super audiophile, but I appreciate good sound quality and bass. Something wireless headphones did not meet my standards and also have long last batteries. These headphones are essentially the Quantum Ones I used to have, but wireless. The sound quality is basically the same, which is great. The mic is either the same quality or maybe a slight bit better. Most friends on discord say I either sound the same or maybe a bit better. Given the prior mic was good, I am fine with that. The battery seems to be fine, with me going a few days of gaming and talking on discord without needing to charge. So I think that is fine. Only had one issue and that is with pairing with the JBL software, it does not let me edit settings or anything if the headphone is not plugged in, which is a pain in my ass. I don't have enough USB ports on my computer, so I charge the headset through a port on my monitor. That of course does not connect it to the PC, so if I want to edit settings I have to unplug it and plug it back into the PC. No idea why that is a thing. Overall, besides that one inconvenience, they are great so far. A bit pricy, but i like them. ... show more

  • Amazing sound, very comfortable
Style: Headphones
Was originally going to buy some new surround speakers for my PC, but went the headphone route instead. It already has a soundbar that sounds good for normal use, but for when I need it I switch over to the headphones. The sound quality on these headphones is excellent. Loud, vibrant, and the bass packs a punch. Lots of controls on the headset so you don't have to fiddle with the software unless you really want to. The head tracking is a new thing for me, very slick. The headset is super comfortable too, fits my giant noggin no problem. Great battery life is icing on the cake. If I had to pick nits, very few. I have to switch between the soundbar and the headphones manually since the dongle is plugged in all the time. The RGB lighting is cute but unnecessary since you can't see it. Making it Aura compatible would have been a nice touch but again, can't see it anyway. All in all an excellent high quality headset, I regret nothing. ... show more

  • Nice Bass, Terrible Defect
Style: Headphones
I'm switching over to this headset after a Logitech G935 and then an Audeze Maxwell. The headset has an outrageously bassy noise profile, which is why I bought it and I'm very happy with that part of the headset. However, I bought a headset, not headphones and am often chatting with friends for hours at a time. Sometimes when I go AFK for 20ish minutes and then return, the microphone only transmits the most excessively loud and egregious static, imagine someone screaming in your ears. I can typically fix it pretty quickly by resetting the device in whatever app I'm using, however I just screamed in everyone ears. You can be a wonderful person but if you're painful to be around then that's what people will associate you with. I mentioned the other headsets because I haven't had these issues with those other headsets. There are other positive qualities of this headset but the microphone issue is so glaring I only can request you stay away from this headset until it's been resolved. Do a quick search, you'll see others are having the same issue. ... show more

  • Really great headset
Style: Headphones
They sound great, connectivity has been flawless for me, setup was relatively easy. They’re extremely comfortable, and I probably have a bigger melon than most. The noise cancelling wasn’t something I thought about when purchasing but man oh man does it work great. The battery life is excellent, I just need plug them in after every session so they’re always freshly charged but I haven’t depleted the battery once during a long pathetic gaming session. They’re awesome, I would recommend. ... show more

  • Mediocre in all aspects, master of none. Not worth $300
Style: Headphones
Been using this for a couple of months now. The sound quality is good, not really something to hit home but also not bad. The mic quality is good, nothing to hit home about but not bad. The build quality is good, nothing to hit home about but not bad. Although, the software they want you to use to update the headset and change settings is downright garbage, updating the headset using the software doesn’t work and it can brick the headset. Stay clear of the software. This is a headset that should be priced for $100 or less, paying $300 for this is a scam. The noise canceling is terrible, the “talkthru” mode just turns down all sounds playing in your headset so you can hear better, so if you were looking forward to these modes you will be disappointed. The battery life is cool though ... show more

  • Great audio!
Style: Headphones
Sound great (bass) and the noise canceling works perfectly! The dongle likes to work sometimes but not always sometimes you have to manually activate it. It does have Bluetooth which works very well. Overall great pair of headphones. I recommend!

  • Wish I had tried these first!
Style: Headphones
I've gone through two sets of Astro's, a set of Bose, two sets of Victrix Pro's and finally tried these. Really wish I has tried them first, these things are the best of the lot so far. No noise cancelling is perfect, but these are the best I've tried. All these headsets seem to end up near the same end in regards to sound quality this day and age. I really like the ability to seamlessly switch between wired and wireless. And not dealing with batteries and external wired controls is a plus. Only negative is the location of the volume control get adjusted sometimes when I lean my head back and it rubs against the back of the chair. ... show more
