I'm not a big fan of over the ear headsets, but it's much easier for gaming. I really needed a wireless set as my wired Corsair set was getting annoying and having occasional issues with iCUE that would require a PC restart. These exceeded my expectations. They sound great, have decent customizability through the software and are very lightweight. I play for hours with eye glasses and never feel any discomfort. The only thing I don't like are the startup/shutdown and mute/unmute noises, which I guess are somewhat convenient to know the state of those settings. Sometimes when I go on mute it can make conversations a little difficult to hear. I wish you could adjust that in the software, but appears to be tied to the headset hardware. ... show more

I got these headphones, so I would have a headset at my family's place whenever I visit them (which is quite a lot). To begin with, the build of these headphones isn't the best, like other customers say, it is quite flimsy for the price, this is the only big con I've had with them. The sound quality is insane for the price I got them for ($50). Their software, which digitally simulates 7.1 surround sound, is honestly a very good piece of software. I have a pair of Razer blackshark v2 headphones that I love, and I have to say the surround sound on these are much better than my Razer headphones. It has very deep bass, decent mids, with lackluster highs. Overall, for $50, I don't think I could find a better headset for gaming.
