The PRX418S is a compact, high-power subwoofer system containing a JBL Selenium 18" woofer for extended low-frequency output. The system offers complete input connection flexibility for compatibility with a variety of cabling schemes. The input panel incorporates a pair of Neutrik Speak on NL-2 / 1⁄4" TS phone combo jack connectors wired in parallel. The PRX418S is supplied with pins +1/-1 connected to the woofer. The front-loaded, vented enclosure is designed to present a minimum frontal area for an unobtrusive, professional appearance. Low-profile and compact, the enclosure is constructed of birch/poplar multi-laminate hardwood and coated in JBL’s rugged DuraFlexTM finish. The distinctive 16-gauge steel grille is CNC-machined for precision and internally lined with an acoustically transparent screen to provide additional driver protection and give a very professional appearance.

    • Didn't affect the function but not supper happy with it
Color: Passive | Black Style: Subwoofer | 18-Inch
Arrived with a dent on the grill. Didn't affect the function but not supper happy with it. I needed the sub so I didn't return it even though the seller offered that option. That would be a huge hassle considering it's size. Really happy with the performance of the sub though. You'll want a nice strong amp to run it. ... show more

    • Tight, Clean Punchy Bass in a Compact Speaker
Color: Passive | Black Style: Subwoofer | 18-Inch
I Purchased 2 of these for my Sound Company and I'm very impressed....It contains a 1000 Watt Selenium 18" Driver with plenty of Bottom End....The price is very good and for the price these deliver some very nice sounding Bass....I also own several JBL MRX518s and JBL SRX718s.....These are somewhere between the two as far as Sound Capability....It is light and has a smaller foot print than the SRX718s...Great for small club stage areas.....It uses the same JBL "screw on" pole mount....JBL Covers for these are available and inexpensive. ... show more

    • JBL, the Return of the BOOM!!
Color: Passive | Black Style: Subwoofer | 18-Inch
If you have a powerful Amp that can bridge at least 1200-1600+ watts or buying a Crown XLS2500 for use in bridge mono mode then this Sub will bring the BOOM back to your setup. Yes this Sub is light enough for the solo mobile DJ yet powerful enough to rock a room of 300 souls, use two to rock a larger room. The Selenium SWS1000 18" Subwoofer is the heart of this Bass box and you can hear and feel the awesomeness. The connections include a Neutrik Speakon and 1/4 TRS option for flexibility. ... show more
