It's Pretty Cool
It's worth the reduced price. It wasn't quite as loud for the shop I work in, but it's still decent at home or on the go. The battery life is only about 3 hours, but it's got a cord and some pretty chill features. I like it a lot and I'm glad I didn't pay the insane Sam's Club price.

I am SO happy with this speaker! It’s got excellent sound, and it’s just the right size — still easy to carry from room to room, but no compromise on sound quality. I personally LOVE the Bass Boost. I don’t care as much about the volume of my music, but the bass is very important. So I love that I can still have the volume low and put the Bass Boost on to get that feel-it-in-my-bones effect — without worrying about it being too loud for my dogs or neighbors. Since mine is refurbished there’s a couple scuffs on the outside of the speaker, but no noticeable difference to the quality in any way. My friend has the JBL PartyBox 520 and I think my JBL Encore is just as good as his, & slightly better in my mind because the battery life is amazing & mine is so easy to get from place to place. ... show more
