So I want to let be known I'm no audiophile. However I do appreciate some bass in my headphones. I own two JBL Go's, two JBL Flips, one JBL Charge and I'm just accustomed to having bass. And these headphones lack bass even when I use the app to set it to extra bass it doesn't feel like there's any bass at all. So with that out the way I can say these headphones are easy to use. The sound quality is crisp and clean. They're comfortable to wear to the point you barely notice them at all. Connectivity is seamless and has no lag when connecting. The adjustment is perfect compared to other headphones where it seems difficult to get the right adjust to your head but with these its practically perfect. The size is what was surprising to me because I did think they'd be bigger but these are perfect the way they are honestly. All in all these headphones are a 10/10 despite the lack of bass. You can also turn them up and down with the buttons on the side well as control if you want noise canceling on or off. If your phone lacks Bluetooth you have a wired option. I go through a lot of headphones. I am not sure why. I guess I am hard on them. I decided to spend a little more this time and after reading a lot of online reviews settled on this pair from JBL. This was a big splurge for me as I typically spend less than $50. Maybe that’s why they break down so often? I have hearing issues, ringing in the ears, etc. so I wanted a pair that was very comfortable and these have a soft padded head bar and very comfortable ear cushions. I also wanted blue tooth (I listen to both music and the tv with these), quick re-charge, long battery life and these headphones fit the bill. I have had them for a few days now and love them! I bought these for their positive noise cancelling reviews, over the ear fit, and price point. I really wanted to love these, but they were a tad too tight for me. I tried them out in the store and loved them! They were probably loosened from repeated try ons, so I didn’t experience the same tightness I did with the new pair. The earphones sat perfectly on my ears on the smallest setting, just too tight. This means I had to send them back. I decided to replace the JBL 510BT headphones I bought in March 2023 with the JBL 670NC. The 510BTs sound great, but the thin vinyl coating on the ear coverings was beginning to peel off and little pieces were getting everywhere. I decided to upgrade to the 670NC because the vinyl coating on the foam ear covers looked thicker, sturdier, and unlikely to peel off. They were also on sale. Upon receiving them, that indeed appears to be the case. I am hoping to keep these headphones for many years to come. I also did a sound comparison. The 670NC absolutely have a fuller, clearer, less tinny sound. I am very happy with my decision. JBL has been my go-to speaker brand ever since I bought a car with a JBL sound system. I love these! More than my Beats earbuds. Yes, they are chunky but the music is clear and bass is good for the price. I got a few hours out mine at a time before needing to recharge. Id still have them if my exs dog didnt decide she wanted to eat plastic. >_> Alas! I've dropped them and they're still functional. The most frustrating part Ive had to deal with was the foam ear piece falling out- which was a PAIN trying to put it back on correctly. These are my first high-end headphones in a long time. I bought them for a two-week trip to Africa involving 27 hours of travel both ways, and they saw a lot of use. They did start to hurt my ears after hours of straight use on the plane, but they fit really well and remained snug enough that when I was tossing back the end of a drink they didn't fall off. The battery is phenomenal - they did not need to recharged until the last couple days of my trip and that was because I never turned them off! The noise canceling is excellent, and I loved the feature of being able to plug them into the seatback screen on the planes to hear full quality audio while still getting the noise-canceling capabilities. My only complaint, and it is so small almost not worth mentioning, is that the L and R to identify left vs right is screen printed in dark blue inside the ear cups, which is really hard to see in lower light. ... show more
