This amplifier is not the best that I ever seen, but it's very decent when you spend the time to install it with the right speaker. It does and amazing job. 2-6x9 Jbl 2-6.5 skaar audio 4- Nb2 tweeters. Works fine. NB. I did not spend a long period playing music since I installed it. The way I set it up does not put heavy stress on the amplifier. I use a car audio crossover and adjust it and a way to take what I need from that amp. Which is (mid and high range). I love this amp! I have it hooked up to 2 5.25 JBL Clubs and 2 JBL GTO 6x9 speakers. It plays C-L-E-A-N. It's pretty great for my set up. After I got this amp hooked up I noticed that my mirrors rattled just a little bit with bass. I've got this amp pretty hot before and I've had no problems so far. I'm not a big car audio guy but I am a musician with years of professional time either behind the mic or behind the board. I had to do a makeover of the factory jbl system in my Toyota and I hated to tackle it. A guy in his garage will be far pressed to outdo the engineering teams at the factory. Even if one gets the freq response balanced, the challenge of doing it with minimal use of eq adjustments (they introduce distortion at the lp/hp frequency of the selected band) is hard. In addition, forget about preserving the image of a well-designed system. My jbl-integration failed after the stupid PAC converter gave up and so I figured I'd go here. 4 matched jbl components front and rear, alpine HU, and this amp. No subs. Amp seems medical grade. It's better built than the jbl speakers are (speaker assembly was a bit of a disappointment but still sound good) and it's clean. It pushes the 6.5's effortlessly, is clean, doesn't seem to color the sound, and controls cone movements accurately. The s/n ratio was a little low compared to some of the others but if there is noise I can't hear it. It is a little large to shoehorn into some spaces but class AB would be. Very happy. UPDATE: found a flaw: I kept noticing that I one speaker (left front) was always louder than the rest. I ended up sending a test tone through the amp and 200hz and measuring each output with an ac voltmeter. The left front channel on my amp is always higher by 5-10% unless I keep the sensitivity adjustment down all the way towards 4v. It's a bit of a pain because it's noticeable and there's no per-channel adjustment. The rear channel is balanced left to right. ... show more

This is the second amp just like this I have ordered and this one is being returned with a dead channel. The first amp did the same thing, just different channel. Don’t buy this!!!

Bought it to pair with the gx602 6” in 4 doors. Works brilliantly. The installer, was asked by several people what he was installing while he was working on my ride because they were so impressed with the sound quality at high levels. It’s beasty, not as bass-y as I’d like it to be but I can’t judge that 100% since I’m still using the stock head unit. ... show more
