This one is just as good and the sound quality is terrific. I got it on sale so if it lasts me as long as my last one (that was gifted) I think it'll be way worth it. For a small speaker, this thing packs a punch. I have always regretted not getting JBLs around my house and getting Sonos instead. Sonos is great, but JBL is noticeably superior and less expensive. We have 2 of these speakers and they get used constantly. One has been on multiple beach trips and it plays great despite being dropped in sand and tossed around in bags. JBL speakers are amazing speakers for the price. The quality is phenomenal. It runs neck and neck with the top competitors. I love this speaker connects easily to Bluetooth. It connects easily to anything. It’s pretty waterproof, but I don’t recommend you like or submerge it, but you can definitely take it to the pool. I bought it for a family members patio. It's perfect for family gatherings and has great sound. My son had one that's over 10 years old and we use it at our house. It doesn't hold a charge anymore but works great otherwise. definitely worth the money.
